Explore the Road of the Seven Lakes from Bariloche

I booked the San Martin de los Andes by Seven Lakes Road from Bariloche tour with Tangol, via Viator. We didn't have a good start as you pay extra if you want the tour with an English/Portuguese guide. Fine. I did this as I can barely understand Spanish. I was however, assigned to a group with a guide who could not speak English. It wasn't his fault. The tour operator messed up. They did sort it out quickly and I joined another group who had a bilingual guide. She was very good. Excellent and made sure I was included in everything as the only English speaker. The tour itself was fine. It was just a lot of driving in a very cramped small bus! It wasn't comfortable especially for such a long drive. The scenery was nice and I learnt a lot. The tour was exactly as advertised.

After reading all the reviews I decided to book the Spanish language option of the tour even though I don't understand Spanish at all, simply because I knew the guides here are not very conversant in english and even if I pay the extra bucks, they won't be able to fluently explain. And the main attraction of the tour is primarily visual delight, but historical. I was right! The guide even though tried hard, could barely explain the name of the stops or the location of the bathtoom, let alone explaining the geographical history of the location. But that was not a deterrent. One can always read the Wikipedia or other articles and even download them beforehand (mobile signal almost non existent throughout the route). In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour because of the breathtaking views.

That was an awesome experience and we had a perfect guide speaking both English and Spanish. He showed us the perfect spots to make pictures.

Comfortable bus, well-timed stops, friendly, informative, and helpful tour guide Diego, spectacular scenery and San Martin is charming.

Fairly good experience the bus AC was not effective. They left the small windows opened to the outside air to come in, with that lots of dust. Pretty irritating. Otherwise nice and scenic. They have only YES or NO choices for would I recommend. I would have say a May be recommendation but not with those buses

The tour was a fantastic way to see the panoramic sites on the way to San Martin de Los Andes. The landscapes with the gorgeous mountains and lakes are amazing. The tour guide from LS Travel Group Brc was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made the ride fun.

A very well organised tour with a fantastic guide. Fabián gave us lot of information regarding the lakes, landscape and nature in the area. Beautiful views & great guide. Muchas gracias!
