City Tour in Salvador Discover the first capital of Brazil

What a fantastic tour! Our guide João was so knowledgeable about the history of Salvador and passionate about his city that it made the tour. He took us to places we would never have found on our own. We learned so much about the city and the culture. Would highly recommended this tour and João!

Very informative and passionate tour guide, but we were unable to tour certain parts of the city due to Carnaval. It would have been nice to understand our limitations prior to booking. We still had a great time and learned a lot about the rich history of the city.

Our guide was very knowledgable and knew detailed the African and multi-cultural history of Salvador. He was also a great photographer allowing us to return with beautiful memories of our time in this incredible city. My husband does not speak Portuguese and his English was on-point. My guide, who said I could call him Juan, or John, was a total delight! His knowledge of Salvador, and his love of her history, was palpable. As a woman traveling alone, with no knowledge of the language, his English was excellent, and he was so interesting! This tour was the highlight of my trip to Salvador!
