From Galway: Guided tour of Connemara with 3 hour stop in Kylemore Abbey

Very happy that we took this tour. The bus was very nice and accommodating. Loved our tour guide Mike. It was just a great day.

The experience was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Paul was an outstanding driver, humorous, personable, friendly and very professional.The trip to Connemara and Kylemore Abby was absolutely mind blowing!! I secured tickets in Boston before I left for Ireland and I’m so glad I did. It was THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY ENTIRE TRIP!!!!!!!!

Our driver and tour guide, Mike, was exceptional. His commentary was riveting the entire time on our trip to the Abbey. He also made appropriate stops along the way that were breathtaking and timely. Highly recommended. Excellent experience. The 3 hours at the Abbey are an absolute must. More time might even be needed, but 3 hours is great for a tour. If you're interested in history and breathtaking landscape go for it. Highly recommended.

Not enough bathroom stops on the three-hour Kylemore trip . No toilet on bus, either. Beautiful places to visit, otherwise.

Great tour. Very happy to have had 3 hours at Kylemore Abbey. Sky Road was just beautiful. Pavel, our tour guide, was funny and engaging. He also made a stop near the end to feed sheep!

Loved the tour. Mike, our driver and guide was very knowledgeable. Didn't love the half-hour stop at a town that had not much interest or things to do bar have a coffee. Unfortunately, we weren't taken to the Connemara Giant, which I had been looking forward too

Wonderful trip to Connemara and Kylemore! I decided at the last minute to do the three hours at Kylemore and am so glad I did. The history talk at the castle was very interesting and the grounds of the castle are breathtaking. The highlight of the day, though, was our guide and bus driver Vincent. He kept us enthralled for the entire drive by providing interesting and informative commentary on Irish history, the Irish language, agriculture, the economy…He is by far the best guide I have had. I could’ve spent another four hours on the bus just listening to his stories.

Wonderful scenery and interesting history. The stops along the drive helped break up the trip and the abbey was well worth three hours

My cousin and I did this tour on August 27th with Mike as our tour guide. They need to use the more medium sized buses to do this tour as the roads get so narrow as you get up into the more mountainous areas. The scenery the whole day was just phenomenal. We just couldn't believe how green the fields could be! The coastal drive out of Galway was beautiful; we saw lots of animals; stone fencing; waterfalls; and just so much beauty. Three hours at the Abbey was perfect. It's a beautiful spot for sure. We were "slightly" disappointed that you don't see any bedrooms really at the Abbey - it just seemed like it was kind of missing in my opinion (but this certainly has no reflection on the tour). Do continue walking down to check out the church as well. There is a nice cafe by the gardens. We took our own lunch we picked up in Clifden, but there would have been time for a lunch at the cafe it it was not too busy. We were totally pleased with our day - Thanks so much!

From purchasing the tickets to the point of meetup for the tour was very smooth and easy! This tour has great value and entertaining lads with great history knowledge! The tour bus was clean and comfortable. Never felt rushed. Stops along the way as well for photos and snacks.
