From Aurangabad: 2 Day Tour of Ajanta & Ellora With All Inclusion

What a fantastic experience. The marvel of workmanship from more than a thousand years ago is astounding. Mr Inder Sethi was a wonderful guide with a vast expanse of knowledge and a wonderful personality. He and gave us as much time as we wanted and our trip was greatly enhanced because of his company.

I can say a top item from our Bucket List is satisfactorily ticked off thanks to the excellent tours through Viator. The locations of course are a once-in-a lifetime experience and we were keen to ensure we get the most out of our visit. We have used Viator many times before and wanted to try out this one too. We were not disappointed. We were in good hands with the excellent tour guides we had. May I give a call out to Sarang Desmukh (for Ajanta caves) who was a fund of knowledge when it came to history, Kev, the young aspiring junior guide who was very engaging and keen, Mr Ali (for Bibi Ka Maqbara and Ellora caves) who was again an expert with many years of experience and knowledge in the field, who is also an excellent photographer. Thanks also goes to Tausif who drove us to these venues - he made our travel safe and enjoyable despite the pitiable state of the roads to Ajanta caves. Thank you Viator. We shall certainly be calling upon you for our future travels.

We liked Ellora caves more due to the impressive Kailashnath Hindu temple. Also there were electric buggies and wheelchairs available. The Ajanta caves involved a lot more walking and climbing which at times can be challenging for seniors or people with mobility issues. However they had the chairs which four people carried on their shoulders but looked a bit scary. The caves themselves were very impressive. Our tour guide Deepak was wonderful throughout the trip and was excellent in narrating the history of these places. Our driver Mr. Sulehman was excellent and friendly. Overall trip was great.

We had a wonderful trip visiting Ajanta and Ellora. The driver was very personable and accommodating regarding everything. He took us to very good local restaurants that were not touristy or expensive. Absolutely would recommend this outfit.

I booked a guided solo trip with Tour My Choice to visit the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, and Bibi Ka Maqbara. I am really glad that I decided to book this trip. Sher Khan was very responsive to my list of questions prior to the tour. The driver and the guide were professional and accommodating. In addition to his tourism knowledge, he is equally intelligent and informed about the current affairs, geopolitical issues, and cultural differences around the world. I really enjoyed talking with him. The time he spent in the caves explaining the history, religion, stories, and the connections was most helpful. Even though I only remembered a fraction of the vast amount of information presented to me, I have significantly deepened my understanding of the multi-cultural and multi-religious aspect of India. If you decide to visit, I highly recommend considering Sher Khan’s tour packages to get the most out of your trip. I would definitely book with them again.

This was a great experience! Having a driver made the whole trip to Ellora and Ajanta smooth and easy, and my driver (S S Patel) was very accommodating and flexible. I didn’t request a guide but am sure it would have been a great choice as well. I would definitely use this company again in the future.
