The place is beautiful. We made several stops to take pictures and a final stop at Ventisquero Negro. The guide talked too much during the trip but left us on our own to see each place and take pictures. I would rather have a guide that goes with us to each place and then give us all the information. I expected more of this tour...

The guide Sebastian was such a nice person, and knowledgeable too .. this was the very first day trip I took during my mobth-long Argentina and Chile trip and it was an absolutely amazing start! Though I don't speak or even understand Spanish at all, I booked the Spanish version of the trip in order to save cost and Sebastian very kindly explained little bit of history of Cerro Tronador to me and Anna (another tourist from my group, an English lady with almost no understanding of Spanish) which made the beautiful landscape come alive. I absolutely recommend this tour to both Spanish and English tourists!!! Bariloche is anyhow extremely beautiful and the people are very friendly and helpful too.

We arrived early to avoid the tourist buses and crowds. The area has fine viewing points with sensitive spots rightly fenced off. The glacier itself is impressive with a small lake at its base with calved icebergs floating in it. The birdlife seems unafraid of people which is perfect. I loved taking time out watching a pair of Patagonian Finches

The guide's English was not perfect but he did his utmost to explain both in English and Spanish what we were seeing. Beautiful views, great guide!!!

True to previous reviews, this a long day on a bus. But still - worth the trip. We had changeable weather but overall nice. Beautiful scenery!! More time off the bus would be nice. We reserved an English tour. Most of the clients were Spanish-speaking (as was someone in our party). About 20% of the tour was translated and the other clients talked throughout the English parts so it was impossible to hear. Very rude and disappointing. (Sit up front - maybe?). I read about Tronador on-line after the tour and there was just so much to learn - but not from our guide. Still you should not miss the experience because it is particularly unique. Food situation was confusing - but inexpensive and good. Bathroom situation was limited.

Not able to hear the ice cracking too many people talking, not enough time at the area and too many buses at same time. Wonderful view. Wish tourists would be more appreciative of the beauty in front of them. Thanks

Very difficult to chose what to do but you'll never be dissappointed with anything in Bariloche, certainly a charming beauty spot.

We really enjoyed this trip. Our guide, Martin, knew his stuff and didn't have the easiest group. Before we had even left he had to use all his diplomatic skills dealing with a very difficult client. There were plenty of scenic stops to take photographs, he explained the terrain, flora and fauna showing his knowledge of the area and was patient when some people were late back to the bus. The National Park and Tronodor mountain are spectacular and we'll worth the effort to see. I only hope that the glacier is still there when we inevitably return.

The glacier was well worth seeing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, and the wildlife

My experience of a tour depends a lot on the guide. And this was true of this trip to Cerro Tronador. Mattias and the driver Rudolfo were fantastic. Rudolfo managed the driving brilliantly. Much of the trip in the comfortable 15 seater Mercedes van was on single track gravel road and he navigated very safely. There were 7 Spanish speakers and my friend and I, English speakers on the tour. Mattias moved equally between the two languages. He is very knowledgeable- history, politics, flora and fauna in the national park, the lakes and the glaciers. Thank you so much.
