Arctic Roadtrip: Sommarøy with scenic picnic Ⓥ | Small group 8 max | Sightseeing

Нам рассказывали о каждом месте, где мы останавливались, о природе, о животных, обитающих в этих местах. В конце был небольшой пикник за столиком на берегу. Были фрукты, бутерброды и горячий чай или кофе. На обратном пути нам повезло увидеть северных оленей. Мы прекрасно провели пол дня. Если будете в Тромсе, очень рекомендую эту поездку в Арктику

This was a lovely day out of Tromso. The wind picked up, so instead of going to the island, we went inland. The scenery was beautiful, and the guide (Armand) was fantastic. Definitely recommend if you want to get out of the town!

My wife and I went for this small group (up to 8 pax) half day road trip out of Tromso. Our guide was Filip and driver was Matthias. Both of them speak fluent English and are excellent. They drove us to Kvaloya Island, where we stopped at a couple of scenic locations to take great photo and played in the thick soft snow. The weather was great, with a clear blue sky and golden hues of the sun rays. These allowed us to take lots of great photos, many of which Filip also helped to take. We then proceeded to a beach in Somaroy, whereby stools were set up for us to enjoy an artic beach picnic in front of an awesome view. What a treat! Nice sandwiches and hot beverages were served. On the way back, we spotted some reindeers and Matthias stopped the van for us to take some photos. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Filip and Matthias. They are professional, knowledgeable, chatty. I signed up for 2 activities with Northern Soul Adventures and both were very good. I highly recommend them for your Tromso activities.

I was unsure about signing up for this activity, but it ended up being one of my favorite experiences in Tromsø. Filip and Mathias were fantastic guides and made the trip genuinely fun. We were also lucky with the weather and came home with some great photos. Highly recommend!

Amazing day with Joaquin & Mathias. Our third day in tromso we decided to choose this tour to get us to see some beautiful scenery! Both of our guides are super friendly and chatty, helped my boyfriend and I took some nice photos! Made our day!

Incredible tour, Lucas and Filip are the best!!! They shared lots of interesting information about the fjords we passed, and finally we got spectacular photos thanks to Filip.

Excellent day trip, lovely hosts, picnic on the beach, beautiful scenery and great commentary. Very comfortable minibus and friendly driver.

Armand and Mathias were excellent guides! Both super knowledgeable and helpful in making our trip to the fjords unforgettable. They both took great pictures, pointed out the perfect spots along the way to see the magic of Norway! We booked the tour the night before and they were able to provide me with a gluten free sandwich which was delicious! The company and guides were really great and I would definitely tour with them again !

This tour, with the wonderful guide Filip and driver Anna, was absolutely perfect. From accommodating us at pickup after my near disastrous mistake with the local bus, to providing all of us with loads of pictures at the end, could not have been improved. We even had glorious weather. Not a soul on that van went away wanting more.

Definitely recommend this tour. It begins at 10:30 and you arrive back in Tromso about 15:30. From the moment of booking, the service from the company was very professional, straightaway checking for any allergies or dietary requirements, and asking for email address for the photographs. We were so lucky to have Mathias as our driver, and Armand as our guide - both very kind and courteous people, a credit to the company. We had a restroom stop at the start of Kvaloya, and a further restroom once we arrived in Sommarøy . Several stops made a long the way, to see some stunning scenery and take photos. Short walks - so good shoes needed. On arrival at Sommarøy, Mathias and Armand set up picnic stools on the beach, and we had a very tasty vegan sandwich, fruit tea or coffee, and biscuits. Everyone was made to feel welcome, and Armand was knowledgeable about Northern Norway and shared a lot of his experiences during the trip. Professional photographs were taken throughout the day, which were amazingly shared by email within an hour or so of the end of the trip. A very professional service with two lovely guides. The only negative was that we did not see the iconic Sommarøy houses, which we understand have been removed from tour itineraries out of respect for the owners, but it would have been nice to drive by at least.
