Monteverde Cloud Forest Tour

This was maybe the most educational travel experience I’ve ever had. I learned an amazing amount about the cloud forest and the diversity of its plant and wild life. Our guide, Roy, was knowledgeable, friendly, and excited about sharing his knowledge. Time well spent.

This was a fabulous nature walk in Monteverde Cloud Forest - Roy was so knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic and we loved hearing all about the natural world, as well as understanding the history of the area and being able to ask him all the questions we had been saving up through our trip. Roy's English was flawless and we had a fantastic visit.

Guide Fernando was extremely knowledgeable and had an extremely good eye. I did not read the fine print and didn't realize the tour did not include admission to the park $26 pp, nor parking $5.

This hike was packed with information and a most knowledgeable guide. His pace was perfect for finding critters and wildlife

The night before our visit, the park had already sold out of tickets and we were only in Monteverde for the day. Roy stepped in and helped us secure tickets, which truly saved our trip. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy this unforgettable experience. Roy is not only a great guide but also a genuinely kind and friendly person with a wonderful team by his side. If you’re visiting Monteverde, I can’t recommend him enough—you’ll walk away inspired and amazed by both the cloud forest and Roy’s dedication.

Roy was our guide and he made our experience really fun! He was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and made every effort to spot wildlife. We found various animals such as the Quetzal bird, spider monkeys, agouti, a viper, etc. The hummingbird gallery was also a beautiful experience seeing them so up close.
