JEEP TOUR - Pikes Peak or Bust

This was an awesome experience. The views were amazing, and the weather was perfect fantastic. Gizmo (our guide) was both informative and entertaining. I would recommend this jeep tour to anyone who does not want to drive a very steep and winding road. You get to see so much more not having to drive.

My mom and I planned our second trip to the Garden of the Gods earlier this year about March 2025, and we were excited about the 1909 Trolley Tour. Our first experience with the tour guide was watching him drive up, greet us, and then joke with my mom. Wild Bill! His pleasant vibe and general kindness made the expectations for the tour high. Wild Bill was the best tour guide I’ve ever experienced. He was informative, funny, and kind to the group — as well as my elderly mom who has some mobility issues. I personally am also a tour guide elsewhere, so it was great to watch and learn from another tour personality. The tour itself was awesome. You get to drive around on a large trolley through the same areas you can take your own car, but now you have someone pointing out all the landmarks and providing information. We learned so much and had a ton of fun. It made our own driving around the park later more fun. This is a great option for anyone wanting to learn more about Garden of the Gods while also admiring the gorgeous landscape. Wild Bill is awesome!

Fun ride through the park. There was so much history I wish I had taken notes... the tour guide was so knowledgeable! One downside... the driver didn't ever stop so it was hard to get photos.

Loved the tour! Wild Bill was great, loved the history of the area and the beautiful scenery. Also, loved the parkas for the chilly summit!

Amazing experience. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Colorado Springs. Our guide was Gizmo and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. His stories were so animated and enjoyable for the adults and for our child. He made the tour very enjoyable and well worth it. The Garden the Gods is absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour!

I'm terrified of heights so the driver hot-dogging it around the turns and some of the straights with no guardrails was not enjoyable. The history of the area provided was good. Just watch the lead foot.

We found we were really able to enjoy the moments having a tour guide. “ARROW” was our guide and he made it incredibly fun. He did a great job explaining the history. We laughed and really enjoyed the other travelers.

Arrow, our guide and driver, was very attentive to each individual. Even though the weather was cold and windy, they were prepared with blankets and heated seats to help keep the passengers warm.

Our small-group Jeep tour with Axe Man—just 4 of us—was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the adventure both fun and safe. It was such a relief to enjoy the breathtaking views without worrying about the 26-mile drive up Pikes Peak—no shoulders, no guardrails, hairpin turns, or switchbacks to stress over. Axe Man prioritized comfort and safety, stopping for bathroom breaks and making sure everyone was cozy throughout the ride. The Jeep was fully equipped with water, snacks, heated seats, blankets, coats, and more. Plus, we got amazing photo opportunities along the way. Highly recommend this tour for a personal, worry-free Pikes Peak experience!

Excellent tour. Our tour guide Preacher can not be beat. He was so informative regarding the history of Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and Colorado Springs. We had family visiting from out of state and they absolutely loved the tour. Great drive and amazing views throughout the afternoon. Thank you Preacher, you made our day. Bill & Patty Cogan
