2 Hour LoDo Historic Walking Tour in Denver

What's LoDo? I’m happy you asked! Lower Downtown is Denver’s oldest neighborhood which is home to some of the best restaurants and attractions in Denver. On this 1.5 hour walking tour your savvy local guide will share fascinating history and point out local hot spots, where to eat and drink. We walk about 1.5 miles where we bring to life the past, present, and future of our beloved city. This tour is perfect for those who have limited time and a busy schedule. At the end of the tour you will feel more like a local and less like a tourist!
We begin the tour at iconic Union Station and its significance to the survival of Denver as a city. Over the next hour and a half we walk a loop around LoDo where we share stories of Denver’s first Chinatown, visit the most famous bordello of its time, visit the oldest operating hotel in Denver, and learn about the underground tunnel system that runs beneath the city.

Уилл взял нас с собой в потрясающий тур по нижнему центру Денвера. У него огромный объем информации о Денвере. Мы узнали много нового о ранней истории Денвера, баре и кулинарной сцене, об усилиях матерей и отцов-основателей города по сохранению красивых кирпичных зданий, а также о благоустройстве района. Он дал несколько рекомендаций относительно места для посещения. Свои рассказы Уилл перемежал юмористическими анекдотами. Это стоило цены и хорошего использования нашего ограниченного времени в городе.

Отличный тур, настоятельно рекомендовал бы друзьям и семье. Гид указал на столько вещей, что вы останетесь незамеченными, если будете гулять по округе в одиночестве. Понравилось познакомиться с историей раннего Денвера. Великий урок истории о станции Юнион

- We meet at the flagpole at Union Station off 17th and Wynkoop Street. Address is 1701 Wynkoop.
- Arrive at 10:45 am. to check in and receive your equipment, tour starts right at 11 a.m. Parking is tough to find so use the app "SpotHero" to find parking.
- Families welcome, young children are FREE, please select a young children's ticket so we have the appropriate amount of equipment for the group.
- A moderate amount of walking is involved (1.5 miles)
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Wear comfortable shoes and we encourage you to bring water and sunscreen
- There are mild adult topics that might come up as we do talk about the Red Light District. And there are dad jokes, if you don't like dad jokes, you will not enjoy this tour.
