Trekking Purmamarca

My wife and I enjoyed our hike with this outfit. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable and spoke English well. The views are great, the terrain is beautiful and while the fauna and flora are minimal, what you do see is interesting and starkly beautiful. I recommend that you accept the offer of ski-pole like walking sticks. (Even if you've never bothered with them before). Most of the paths are made up of small and med. sized rocks and at times you are walking on a sort of 'knife's edge' with a precipitous plunge on one side or the other (and sometimes both) so those walking poles will reduce the give you some confidence or at least reduce the stress of those hiking with you.

The trekking had amazing views over Pumamarca. Aniacho is a guide who is also explaining the lifestyle of the region as well as the plants and rocks that we find along the way. A good time that we recomend!

Great way to explore the area around Purmamarca! Fabricio is very profesional and makes sure everyone enjoys the experience at their own pace. You reach areas you would not reach on your own.

Fabricio was an excellent guide and we are so glad we did this on our first morning in Purnamarca because he explained so much about the geology and flora and fauna and we were able to really appreciate the region on the following days. Our trekking experience with lamas was fantastic. The guide explained a lot and spoke about the history of purmamarca, wich was really interesting! The lamas were just gorgeous and really friendly. We had a lot of fun and took great photos!

We went on amazing guided walk near Purmamarca with Fabricio. The walk was very varied with stunning, constantly changing scenery and Fabricio was an excellent guide who told us a lot of very interesting information about the geology, the history and the culture. It was also very good value and easy to communicate with him to arrange the walk via WhatsApp. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. ( we later went on a walk in Tilcara with Tilcara Trekking which I would not recommend - much more expensive and we had a terrible guide who spent all the time on his phone )

Llegas a ver paisajes que nunca viste y jamás imaginaste. La dificultad es media y vas bien si seguís los consejos de Fabricio. Además sabe un montón y aprendimos muchísimo de geología, cultura, historia y mucho más lo que hace enriquecedora la experiencia. Sumamente recomendable
