Vatnajökull Glacier Walk from Hali

Мы забронировали тур на ледник Ватнайёкюдль и оплатили его месяца за два до мероприятия. Остановились на ночь в Хали, чтобы утром, никуда не спеша, оказаться у дверей офиса Glacier Adventure. Поздоровались на английском с нашим гидом, и тут выяснилось, что гида зовут Евгений и мы можем слушать его рассказ о леднике на родном языке. Еще одним приятным сюрпризом было то, что к нам четверым никто не присоединился и наш тур получился индивидуальным. Евгений весь поход сопровождал интересными и познавательными комментариями, научил нас ходить в кошках и пользоваться ледорубом. Это был действительно интересный опыт, за который мы благодарны нашему гиду. Одна участница нашей группы поначалу наотрез отказалась спускаться по склону с использованием страховочного каната, но Евгению все же удалось ее переубедить, после чего она спустившись и заглянув в расщелину с водопадом была в полном восторге. У нас остались самые приятные воспоминания об этом походе и множество незабываемых фотографий! Однозначно рекомендую.

This was my first time experiencing a glacier walk, and it was truly unique — highly recommended! Our guide Mihai was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the glacier along the way. He chose an easy and comfortable route for everyone, took great care of those who weren’t as strong, and he’s also an excellent photographer!

My husband and I highly enjoyed our experience with Glacier Adventure. Everyone was friendly and our tour guide was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable and fun.

Great experience! Got to see beautiful blue caves and the hike itself wasn’t hard! Definitely be prepared for the weather as it constantly changes!

Great experience, a professional and caring guide, it’s just the weather was too rainy on this day. Be dressed accordingly as on top of the ice glacier it can be extremely wet and cold 🙃

We had a 5-hour tour on this glacier in a small group – perfectly organized and with the super friendly Katharina as our guide. Her explanations were short, clear, and easy to understand, just right for the activity. The introduction to ice climbing was definitely the highlight! We even enter a small ice cave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an adventure.

We went for the walking with Isa and it was fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and competent, yet also cordial and friendly. A unique and highly recommended experience.

We had such an amazing time with Glacier Adventure on the Glacier Walk at Vatnajökull Glacier. Walking on the ice, seeing the glacier formations up close, and being surrounded by such stunning views was just incredible. Everything was super well organized and we always felt safe. A big shoutout to our guide, Cristina – she was fantastic! Friendly and really knowledgeable, she made the whole experience even more special. I’d totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland!
