Mazatlan City Sightseeing Tour with Shopping Time and Lunch

I have used this tour company many times and never disappointed. Drivers are very knowledgeable and on time.

Jesus was very knowledgeable about Mazatlan. We were given time at the stops to get out and explore and take pictures. It gave me some information about the Golden Zone, Malecon, downtown area and old, cultural Mazatlan. We were able to catch the cliff divers and watched two dive. We had lunch on the beach. The shrimp were okay but the pina coladas were excellent.

Small groupings so it never feels crowded, you also never feel rushed. Ends on a beautiful beach surrounded by mariachis wanting to perform for cash which is part of the experience. It was my Grandmother's(85 years old!) favorite part of the trip. She has mobility issues and our tour guide treated her with so much respect and care.

We had used same vendor for the same tour twice before. This tour left us wanting more. Very little information provided by the driver. Not as many stops with stories. We signed up for a 5 hour tour and it was only 4 hours. That hour was taken off of our beach visit, which was the highlight of the tour.

Smiley kept the trip moving and interesting. Gave plenty of time to enjoy the sights. He even extended the trip to get everything in.

This is good van tour to navigate around and through the best parts of historic Mazatlán. The tour guides are funny, very knowledgeable, and pragmatic. We saw the Basilica Cathedral of Mazatlán, the coast line, historic Mazatlán, the Gold Zone, and had a great lunch on the coast. The lunch was constantly harassed by vendors selling stuff and three...THREE mariachi bands competing to play louder than the others, be prepared to shout as loud as you can to talk. The shopping visit was to the standard tourist stores for T-shirts and souvenirs.

We arrived in Mazatlan via cruise ship. We’d been told there was a Viator desk inside the terminal, and while there was a tour desk, nothing said Viator, so that was confusing. Once we found where we were supposed to be, several other tours we’re leaving simultaneously, so ours got pushed for over 30 minutes. Once we finally got started, we saw many of Mazatlan’s best sights and the day was enjoyable. Our driver was very personable and went out of his way to please, but that included two unplanned stops to accommodate requests from two guests which left the other tour participants waiting unnecessarily. Our last stop was at a beach for lunch, but there was a snafu with the kitchen staff, so by the time our driver checked on our group, several of us hadn’t been served and we had to leave to get back to our respective ships, so had to cancel our order. While this wasn’t anyone’s fault, if we hadn’t made the unplanned stops, we would have had enough time at lunch. Overall, a full and enjoyable day.

Very nice overview of city and activities. Carlos was great and managed the group professionally and friendly.

My second time on this excursion. Both times just as fun. You get a nice, air conditioned van and watch everyone else in the back of little pickup trucks getting roasted. You get in some shopping time, see the town, a beautiful church, and have lunch on the beach. Great little tour.
