The tour was amazing. I loved the small group aspect. It makes the tour so much more meaningful. Our guide was enthusiastic about the Normandy area and the history. I appreciate him making the effort to get us to the cemetery in time to see the lowering of the flag. It meant a lot. It was a fantastic day, I would use this group again for any tour they offer.

My husband and I had the chance to do this one day tour from Paris. His Dad (who passed many years ago) was in the US Navy on a MInesweeper off the coast of Normandy in the days before D-Day. The tour was emotional for many reasons and what made it even more memorable and above and beyond was our tour guide JULIA! She was so passionate and knowledgeable, and has the perfect personality to be a tour guide! She managed to thread some wonderfully light hearted moments throughout this very sobering tour. We loved the way she brought the history of D-Day to life via the stories of individual soldiers, sailors, and airmen. A honor to get to visit such hallowed ground. The logistics were really well done, from the train tickets being booked, our guide meeting us in Bayeux etc. This tour is not to be missed if you have a interest in WWII and the US/Allied roles in this pivotal battle & time. Julia is a GEM!!!

We had such an amazing time on this tour. We learned so many wonderful details about not just the Normandy invasion but also the history of the little town. It was truly a historian's dream.

If you’re a Canadian looking for a well-planned tour with a super friendly, gracious, and knowledgeable guide, book with Link Paris. Our guide Dylan exceeded our expectations. His ability to recall events, dates, names, and details that other tour operators might overlook made this tour truly worthwhile. Our daughters, aged 13 and 12, learned so much, largely due to Dylan’s engaging style of relaying history. Thank you again Dylan!!

Our trip to Normandy was everything we hoped it would be. Link Paris set up our train travel from Paris to Bayeux, and our guide, Sophie, was waiting for us there. She took us to the principal historic sites and was well-versed in the history of the the D-Day landing. She took us to a great local (non-touristy) sandwich shop and bar for lunch. Everything was well-organized. It was a wonderful, meaningful experience to see Normandy. I recommend the tour highly!

A sobering, meaningful, and humbling experience as you are able to envision a fraction of what June 6, 1944 must have been like. Limited to eight people you have an intimate experience under the guidance of a WWII and DDay expert, in our case, Lucas who was exceptional. You leave knowing this is one travel memory that will stay with you forever. Well worth the time, expense, and effort.

Laura arranged a "last minute"fully accessible private tour of the Normandy D-Day beaches for our family. Our guide Fred was born and raised in Normandy. He tailored the experience to make the best use of our time. Our driver Samir kept us feeling safe and secure on both city and rural roads. Highly recommend!

Laura handled a 2-night trip to Normandy from Paris by train. Her instructions were on point, the hotel in Bayeux was as described and the guides were terrific. Also spent a day self-guiding at St. Michel with a transport guide. Highly recommend.

This was a great tour! We had a fabulous guide who was very knowledgeable and brought to life D-Day with his stories describing the events. Highly recommend this tour. Normandy area is beautiful and the experience humbling.

We took the day trip to Normandy from Paris - the train trip was delightful! Our guide met us at the Bayeux station; there were six of us total. Eliza, our guide was absolutely wonderful! It was a full day at St.-Mere-Eglise, Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach, the American Cemetery at Utah Beach for the daily lowering of the flag at 5:00 P.M., and finally at Omaha Beach. She was very knowledgeable, had a binder full of historical pictures which nicely augmented her explanations and was very courteous and helpful. Eliza also arranged a nice place for lunch at a local cafe, where we had our own table. We called Laura (LinkParis.com) to arrange the trip before going over and she could not have been more helpful and courteous. Would wholeheartedly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested.
