Excellent Guide: Friendly, very informative, patient with our guest. Excellent conversationalist. More than I expected.

It could not have been better - far exceeded our expectations! Wally was so knowledgeable and concerned that we have the ultimate experience on this tour. We can’t say enough about our day; it was so special and the fond memory will linger for the rest of our lives.

We had the best guide! His name was Laurent but he goes by Wuly. He’s a 30 French Air Force retiree who loves the strategy and meanings of the mechanics of D Day. He was funny, so smart, kind, and we had a great day. We went to Utah and Omaha beaches, St Mer Eglaise where the paratrooper got hung up in the spire (he’s still there ;) and then to the American soldiers cemetery for their afternoon Taps: flag lowering ceremony. We had time in some wonderful gift shops too! Bless the French for how well they take care of our soldiers there. It’s unbelievably beautiful and amazing.

Sophie was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Went above and beyond. My phone ran out of power and toward end of day wanted to get video of lowering of flag with taps at National Cemetery and he videoed it and sent it to me. Very grateful

The Normandy Battlefields Tour was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide was thoroughly knowledgeable in the history and battles of World War II, particularly the events surrounding the American landing beaches. His deep understanding of the area’s military history, combined with his ability to add insightful anecdotes and personal stories, made the past come alive in a meaningful way. What made the tour especially memorable was the way he took us beyond the well-known sites. We visited villages and churches that carried their own moving stories, each stop adding another layer of depth and humanity to the history. He never rushed us, but instead took his time, patiently sharing his expertise and answering questions with care and detail. This tour went far beyond expectations—it was both educational and deeply moving. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to truly understand and connect with the history of D-Day and the American experience in Normandy.

All the sites were terrific and the guide was personable and informative. However the day was marred by a very long lunch stop at a restaurant where the food was not good. This made us rush thru Pointe du Hoc and we were late to the lowering of the flag and taps at the American cemetery.

Adrien Marvyle gave an informative, interesting and fun tour. He speaks excellent English and has a thorough understanding of the history of the war in Normandy. We highly recommend !

Perfect way to experience history. Very moving and humbling. Guillaume told enlightening, compelling stories that made history come alive, with context and human connection. We are both students of WWII but could not grasp the magnitude of all that happened here until now. Our guide Guillaume kept us going, sharing interesting history of the Normans, context for politics past and present, and impact today in this remarkable part of Europe.

Our tour of the Normandy Battlefields (American sites) was excellent!! Our guide, David, was truly exceptional!! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! We wholeheartedly recommend it!
