DMZ TOUR HUE - Deluxe group tour full day

Our tour guide Linh was personable, very knowledgeable of the history of the locations we were visiting and had an exceptional level of English language which made it easier for me to engage with the whole experience. Be prepared for a long day. We were out for about 12 hours from pick up to drop off but it’s well worth the time and also great value for money. The locations are spread out, hence the amount of time spent on the road, so I’d recommend taking a book or something to occupy your time. My particular favourites during the day were the visits to the Khe Sanh Combat Base and Vinh Moc Tunnels. We had a lovely lunch at a family restaurant in the Khe Sanh area. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour. It’s a long day but well worth the investment in time. Thanks again to the tour guide Linh and our superbly competent driver who handled the often wet driving conditions with great care.

I really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot about Vietnam's history. Linh was a good guide. We were unlucky with the weather but umbrella's were probided. I liked the little gifts we get as well!

A really good crew and a really good day. Guide was passionate and gave good insights even if you know some of the history. Driver also great Connect have good communications. And I had a little hiccup in the morning and they made an extra effort to resolve it all.

We had a great day with Lihn , she is full of historical information. The tunnels are a must see , but we also enjoyed the Khe San airbase. A great daytrip from Hue.

Great experience with our guide Hoa. She was so knowledgeable and we got to learn a lot about the history regarding the war, the politics and the DMZ. The tunnels were also a great highlight and a must see. The only thing I would say is to lower your expectations on the other historical sites as things have changed quite a bit since they were in use. This is obviously understandable but I definitely set the bar much higher for some of the other stops and it’s mostly just museums with the same pics. Still cool to see just not as cool as expected. But thank you to Hoa, she made the trip for us

Such a heart touching experience. To learn history this way is by far more educational. Our guide Hoa was amazing! Her stories, voice, perfect English, selection of music in the minibus made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Drive a little long but you passing a beautiful mountain region of the country! Totally worth your time!

I've always been interested in the Vietnam war and read many books on the conflict, all from American troops who served there. Also watched most of the movies and documentaries, so to visit Khe Sanh was a special experience for me. Linh, our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, fun to be with and always had a smile on her face. She made us all very aware of the suffering that the Vietnamese people went through, not just during the 60's and 70's but at the hands of the French and before, without being dogmatic about it. All in all, a great day out learning about the resilience of the Vietnamese people.

If you’re a Vietnam War you must experience this tour. I had a great time conversing with our guide Nam. He was very friendly and a wealth of information about the war and the places that we visited. I think Khe Shan was my favorite. You could almost feel the bullets flying and the bombs bursting.
