San Andreas Fault Offroad Tour

Really great experience with this tour. Sarah was friendly, knowledgable, and did a nice job taking my wife and me on this tour. We met at the Big Wheel bike place by 8:00am and were back by 12:30. Sarah knew of a nice slot canyon hike of which most people are unaware, and that was a lot of fun. We highly recommend this sperience..

Highlighted experience! The Guide, Ben, was so friendly, enthusiastic and funny. Also he equipped with knowledge of several faces of this fault, geography, geology, plants, animal and . . . . knew how to drive on sand, gravel surface!!

Our tour guide, Ben, was great! He was quite knowledgeable about desert flora/fauna, tectonic plates and rocks/geology in the area.

Jeff was a great driver & tour guide, feeding us all kinds of interesting and fun facts about the areas he drove us through. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning about the San Andreas Fault!

We did the half-day San Andreas Fault tour and had a great time! Our guide, Will, was knowledgeable and shared fascinating info about the area, local wildlife, and plants. The off-roading was a blast, and walking through the slot canyons was an unforgettable highlight!

We recently took a 4-hour off-road tour of the San Andreas Fault with Big Wheel Tours in Palm Desert, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Jeff, made the entire experience unforgettable. Jeff was incredibly educational, explaining the creation and meaning of the San Andreas Fault in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. His breadth of knowledge about the geology and the surrounding area was truly impressive. What really stood out, though, was his ability to tailor the tour to our interests—he had so much more he could have shared, but he adjusted seamlessly to what we wanted to see and learn. On top of his expertise, Jeff was easygoing, pleasant, and had a great sense of humor, which made the tour both fun and engaging. He was also mindful of possible concerns at some of the more adventurous stops (a bit of an E-ticket ride!) and put everyone at ease. We walked away with not only a deeper appreciation for the San Andreas Fault and its history but also wonderful memories of a truly unique adventure. I would highly recommend this tour—and especially Jeff—to anyone visiting the Palm Desert area!

Sarah is the best tour guide I have ever had for any tour. She is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and caring. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others and she clearly enjoys interacting with others. I would take a tour guided by Sarah again without hesitation.

Kolin was our guide for the 1:00 pm San Andreas Fault tour. Neither my husband or I had been there and we were not sure what to expect. He is VERY knowledgeable, informative and has a passion for geology which made the tour very interesting. Truly exceeded our expectations and we cannot express how much we enjoyed it.
