The ferry crossing was quick and having an additional activity of snorkelling at Lobos was great! I got the 1115 ferry and then met the 1320 boat in Lobos to go snorkelling. This was just enough time to go up Caldera but not walk round the whole island. If you wanted to do this as well, you could get the 1000 ferry from Corralejo or go back on the island after snorkelling to get the 1600 ferry back from Lobos.

Overall it was good as a day out but the conditions made it less enjoyable. I didn’t realise that your start time had no impact on the snorkelling, you either get dropped off at the island on the 10am or 11am ferry and wait to be picked up at 1.20pm for snorkelling. It was hot and exposed (luckily we were warned so had all the provisions) so I would have chosen the 11am rather than 10am to reduce the wait. The snorkelling part just takes you 5 mins down the coast and turns back round and then you snorkel just next to the pick up point which I found disappointing. The snorkelling itself wasn’t enjoyable but this was mainly because the water was so choppy. The only way in was to jump and there was loads of people below me so I felt lucky not to land on them. It was so windy at that point that the boat and people didn’t have much control and I don’t think there were enough floats or it was obvious enough that we could’ve had a pool noodle with us. I’m a strong swimmer and have snorkelled before but I struggled to be able to adjust my goggles and with everyone everywhere it just felt a bit out of control so I came in after about 5-10 mins having not really seen anything and clambered past everyone clinging to the ladder to save myself! There were lots of fish though and those who persevered past the rush did seem to have a great time so maybe my advice is wait until the rush dies down before jumping in. The snorkel boat then either drops you back at the island or can take you back. Everything was very punctual.

Trip departed on time to the island, friendly, helpful staff My friend did the snorkeling, saw some wonderful fish. Following this we spent time exploring the island, it has one restaurant, we brought food with us and spent the day on the glorious beach, before getting the last few back to the mainland. Wonderful blue water and fantastic views. Bring water and snacks.

A very nice day out. We took the 11.15 ferry to the island and went to a beautiful beach. The boat arrived back at 13.20 and took us snorkeling. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Suzanna who helped us at the ticket office before we left. We highly recommend this trip.

The boat trip was very well organised. The snorkelling was fun with masks etc to use and a cold drink on board. The island was beautiful and relaxed. Would definitely recommend

The snorkling was really fun and we all loved it in particular being able to leap off the top deck into the fishy waters. For me the island was not very interesting, quite hot and lacking in any shade (for Brits - take a parasol). We really liked the boat trip and the crew were amazing.

Totally hyped up..could have saved money..would not recommend to any ssne person to walk 15 ..20 km in blazing sun. At 12 Noon..Toilets were non functioning on the Island ..No caretaker in sight. Where do you expect People to inquire.. Typical. Spanish South European attitude everywhere. As if they are doing favour to Visitors.. Big Sham and Scam..

Great little excursion and the snorkelling in a good location, with lots of fish! We booked after another company cancelled on us as we were the only people booked on but still wanted to do some snorkelling so booked this last minute. The boat takes you out and lets the ferry only passengers off, before doing a little 10 min ‘mini cruise’ to give you a different view of lobos and then anchoring for some snorkelling. It’s a busy (ish) bit though - near the dock - so I think fish are all you’re likely to see. You get a good amount of time in the water and the free drink was a nice touch too. You can then get off the boat and spend some time on lobos if you want - we went straight back as we’d done lobos before but it’s good value for the snorkelling and ferry combined!

We had a brilliant time! The snorkelling was great - good visibility and lots of fish! We really enjoyed the trip. Bring water and food/ drink as there is very little shade on the island and it was hot!
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Bring plenty of water and food: there are no shops on the island, and the only beach kiosk is not always open. Be prepared for the whole day.
- Sun protection is essential: hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The island has a dry, volcanic and rugged terrain, with no trees or natural shade.
- We recommend booking in advance, especially during the summer.
- Pets are not allowed on Lobos Island.
- This tour may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. If your tour is cancelled, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
