Athens Street Culture & Food, off-the-beaten path, afternoon

We arrived at Kerameikos station a little late as our booked taxi had had an accident( before he got to us and he was ok!). Our delightful guide Eva waited for us and our little group set off. What an amazing experience to walk through areas of Athens tourists do not see. Eva was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Greece. The history, food and information was enthralling and I cannot recommend the tour and Eva highly enough.

So much fun! A great way to be able to explore parts of Athens where tourists don't often go while being able to have delicious food along the way. Fotis was an awesome guide and made us feel very comfortable on the tour, also giving us great explanations of food and graffiti and other aspects of history/culture. Definitely recommend!

My tour guide Angel was the best. He's very informative on the local culture. He's a fun person and speaks good English and Spanish as well. The food was very delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this tour.

It was an evening with lots of fun on this tour. The tour guide was fantastic and fun, taking the group on a walk in a real neighborhood, sharing information on local life and food. The food was excellent. It was the best food I've had in 2 weeks in Greece. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in knowing local life, having good food, and getting out of the tourist areas.

Loved hanging out with a diverse small group and tasting some really good food! We did the tour on our last night in Athens and it was a perfect ending to our vacation. Our guide, (Elefina?) was warm and interesting. We loved walking through areas we might have shied away from.

Absolutely Incredible. I have been on food tours across 15 countries by now and I can without any second thought say this was the best food tour I have ever been to. An off-beat path with an interesting mix of beautiful street art, places and dishes only a local would know and a vivacious guide Evelina really made it every penny's worth. Taste authentic Greek cuisine and celebrate it with some good music playing in the background while Evelina gives you the story behind the dishes and how modern Greek culture is evolving. Enjoy the beautiful street peppered across Keramikos. Evelina you were amazing, and thank you for letting us taste your favorite dishes in places I otherwise would have never discovered.

Fab tour with awesome guide. Got to try things you just wouldn't know about it - no googling will identify them. And explored interesting areas and got a sense of life in modern youth in Athens. Highly recommend.

Christi, our tour guide was extremely nice and interesting person. She presented us very interesting stories about history, modern times, current political situation, traditions and real life of citizens. She also took us to a great places where we tasted authentic Greek cousine. It was real great experience thanks to Christi who was very professional and in an interesting sometimes funny way told us how real life in Athens looks like. We had this tour with Rena, which is the most vivaceous, energetic and friendly guide. She herself is an actress so was able to explain a lot about the neighborhood. The food was delicious. Wonderful afternoon and recommended tour!

The guide was very professional, and food tasting was good, but seeing streets filled with graffiti wasn’t my cup of tea.
