Skip the Line: Acropolis of Athens Afternoon Walking Tour

Fabulous tour guide, highly knowledgeable along with some fun facts. Brought the Acropolis and Parthenon alive, highly recommend you will miss so much out without a guide.

This was an exceptional tour. The meeting location was easy to find and marked well. Our tour guide Magda was a wealth of knowledge. She shared so much and took a decent pace on the tour for all to enjoy. Her stop locations were spaced out nicely and were very natural breaking spots up the Acropolis. Many opportunities to soak in the history and take pictures. Fantastic tour.

Excellent and knowledgeable guide. Exactly what you need for an archaeological site like this. Brings the area to life. 2 hour tour was enough to get a good overview. Didn’t have time to do the museum too unfortunately. 9am tour was good as it would be very hot at the top later in the day.

It was so very special to be among such beauty and so much history. Learning this and to also know the pantheon is being preserved to keep the evidence of these ruins is just amazing

This was the perfect length tour for me, nice amount of walking (some uphill to acropolis) and perfect amount of info! Tour guide was super knowledgeable, made the entire tour/walk interesting, and shared some really great restaurant recommendations with us at the end. Highly recommend!

My travel companion was 87 years old. We were not sure if he could make it to the top of Acropolis. Artemis Olympidou, our tour guide, was so considerate to make stops as often as she could so that my 87 year old friend could keep up with the group. We were very excited that all of us were able to get to the top of Acropolis. Whenever we told other tourists that my 87 year old travel companion walked up to the top of Acropolis, it inspired everyone. Those hills and steps without railings were not easy, even for me and I was scared on the way up. I am so thankful to Artemis for providing us such a great experience and memory in Athens.

Dimos was an absolute legend for a tour guide, great insight into the history of the Acropolis and Greece. Take an early tour, we did 09;00. Engaged with the group especially the kids.

The guide was very knowledgeable and took things slowly going up the hill. The Parthenon was unbelievable and all of the buildings that were there also was unexpected.

Demos is a great tour guide. Going during the off season was really nice as we were able to take our time and truly appreciate the whole experience

Dimos was one of the best guides I have had for a historical sight. Great information delivered in an interesting way. The tour definitely helped bring out some details of the Parthenon that we would have missed otherwise.
