Gourmet Food Walking Tour in Athens

This food tour was awesome! We did it the morning/afternoon of our second day in Athens and it was a great way to get familiar with part of the downtown. Andreas was a lovely guide and kept the tour flowing smoothly without feeling rushed. We were delighted by all the dishes and drinks we got to try, including the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting at the end. We bought our favorite of each and are still enjoying it, it brings back the good memories. Definitely follow their advice to skip breakfast before, you’ll want to have room :)

My food tour was Dorela was amazing. Love all the spots we went for traditional Greek food. A lot of food, the meat and fish market was very interesting we pass threw walking. Great job Dorela hope to have on my next food tour.

Amazing tour with an amazing guide! We got to enjoy sooo much food and learn all about it while also getting to walk around a bit. Our guide adjusted the tour to us and wanted us to experience as much as possible. We loved it! Would highly recommend and to do it early into your trip cause we got so much info, not only about food but other recommendations as well!

Perfect tour to explore the city and have an authentic taste of Athens. The guide was perfect company, very friendly and amazing explanation of the products and the history behind it.

I really enjoyed the food tour. It was a nice variety of restaurants. I learned a lot about Greek food, wine, and coffee. Irene, the guide, was very knowledgeable and had a lot of charisma making the tour enjoyable. Highly recommend.

This tour was amazing and highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to explore the Greek cuisine and culture within Athens. Our tour guide (Irene) was brilliant, showing us the top stops for local must-haves whilst informing us of the history / culture of the foods. Myself and my partner did this tour on our first day in Athens and it definitely helped with dinner planning for the remainder of our stay!

What a great tour! Walking food tours are one of our favorite ways to explore a new city when we travel. You learn a lot about a country or culture through their food. This tour did not disappoint! Ana guided us through the city, explaining the food and the neighborhoods as we went along. She was excellent! If you get the chance, please ask for her. We stopped at 6 different restaurants on our tour and enjoyed an abundance of local delicacies including Greek coffee, spanakopita, donuts, olives and small plates as well as gyros and wine tasting. We never would have found all of these places on our own, so this guided tour maximized our time and filled our bellies at the same time. We highly recommend this tour and will look to do it again the next time we come back to Athens!
