Continue sailing south along the west coast of Paxos island, enjoying the impressive rocky coastline and the unique white sandy beaches. The boat enters the breath-taking sea caves, whose clear blue waters will leave you speechless. The blue caves marine area is a natural habitat of the Mediterranean monk seal (monachus monachus) and all the island complex of Paxos, included in the European initiative ΝΑΤURΑ 2000. Visit the island of Antipaxos, whose sandy blue-water coves have been compared to those in the Caribbean. see the small islands of Skaltsonisi and Mongonisi. Sailing alongside of the narrow channel of Paxos and the islands of Panagia and Agios Nikolaos we moor to the centre of the picturesque port of Gaios village. Wander through the wonderful narrow streets of Gaios, visit the souvenirs shops and enjoy lunch at one of the traditional tavernas.

It was good but you can do everything on the itinerary (sea swimming, caves & pretty towns) on Corfu island. You spend in total about 5 hours on the boat going between Corfu and Paxos so end up paying for snacks/drinks and then lunch in Paxos. It felt a bit of a tourist trap for these reasons. You can make the most of it if you accidentally book without doing your research (like we did!) but my advice would be to book a Corfu trip with a smaller company or chartering a boat if you can. It would be more expensive but you’d get longer doing the actual activities and wouldn’t end up spending all the extra money.

My Husband and I went on this trip that we booked via our hotel in Ermones. This trip is an exceptionally long day so if you get travel or seasick it is best to avoid it and pick a trip with a shorter duration. We were collected at 07.15, the driver was prompt and checked our names off of the list. The mini bus collects from certain hotels then met up with another minibus and there were two trips and there was an exchange for those on the other trip. After an hour and a half we arrive at Benitses port. We boarded the boat and yes there are a lot of people but their capacity is 171 persons..I don't think it had that number although you were sat where there were spaces. We set off and travelled for quite some time (over an hour) to see the sea caves which are stunning. We went into the cave but couldn’t go in too far as the boat is fairly large. Just to say that I didn't see the smaller boats go into the cave very much farther than we did. We then travelled about 40 minutes to Antipaxos where we were given an hour for swimming in the most beautiful water and scenery. Make sure you spend as long as you can in the water as it is so beautiful. We then went onto Paxos and were there for 2 hours. We were able to go to the small public beach if we wanted to but didn't as we ate and had a mooch around the market and shops. It was absolutely boiling and I think most people were done by an hour and a half - I would have preferred to spend an hour and a half at Antipaxos and hour and a half at Paxos. Don't get me wrong, Paxos was lovely. We boarded the boat back to Beniteses port which took 2 and a half hours to get back. A long time where we did see a dolphin. The boat has music playing which is ramped up the closer we got back to Corfu and the cocktails were then €7. There are toilets on board which were surprisingly quite nice. This is a long day trip and unless ypu can afford speed boat prices, this is a good alternative albeit slower! The commentary was sufficient and informative. We had a good day. There are food and drink available on the boat

We took the Paxos & Antipaxos cruise departing from Lefkimmi Port, and while the scenery was undeniably beautiful, the experience overall left a lot to be desired. First off, the boat was incredibly slow. It felt like the slowest one out there — all other boats sped past us and disappeared into the distance, so it took much longer than it should have to reach Paxos. Another major downside: the boat doesn’t dock anywhere close to shore. It stops in deep water where you can’t touch the bottom, which is a huge issue if, like me, you can’t swim. Other boats were docking closer to the shore, allowing passengers to get off and walk, but ours did not. After hours on the boat feeling seasick (thankfully, they do offer motion sickness pills), I couldn’t even get off to enjoy the water. Once in Paxos, we only stayed for about 40 minutes to 1 hour, which was disappointing since this is clearly the highlight of the cruise. Most people seemed more interested in swimming in the clear blue waters here, yet we barely had time before the boat set off again toward Antipaxos. At Antipaxos, we docked so guests could explore the town — but it’s like many other tourist towns: shops, souvenirs, and restaurants. The beach is not nearby, and by the time we sat down for lunch (like most people), the wait for food ate up the little time we had. We didn’t even attempt to find the beach because there simply wasn’t time to do both. In my opinion, they should really flip the schedule: more time in Paxos, less in Antipaxos. Paxos has the stunning waters everyone wants to swim in, and Antipaxos is more about strolling and shopping. All in all, it’s a beautiful place, but due to the slow boat, poor time allocation, and lack of access for non-swimmers, I personally wouldn’t do it again.

Firstly the coach was 20mins late picking us up from our hotel at 7.45am. We thought the boat was departing from Corfu town but it wasn’t (we were hoping to see Corfu town from the water) we sat on the coach for nearly an hour to get to small port where we then got on the boat that was already pretty much full meaning we had to sit inside downstairs. We then waited for more passengers to join before the boat eventually took off. It took about 1hr45 to get to the blue caves which was a pass by then another 40 mins to get to Antipaxos. This was only a 50min swim in the sea stop not get off the boat and looking around. We eventually arrived at Paxos at 2pm! Where we were told we had 1.5hrs to look around. This is where we decided to give up on the trip and we purchased our own ferry tickets back to Corfu town so we could stay in Paxos for longer. The trip was so much travelling to have hardly any time to see the islands. There were also so many people on the boat. I would not recommend this trip I would just take the ferry yourself direct from Corfu to Paxos and miss out the caves & Antipaxos if you have seen other caves around Europe and swam in turquoise water this is just the same.

Arrived at pick up point at Lefkimmi, after over an hours journey on a coach, met by a boat/ ferry! that had arrived from Corfu town. Totally full to capacity with people, unable to get a seat anywhere & had to stand for 2 hrs, the only place was at the back of the boat with hoards of smokers. Entered 2 caves for a few minutes, then anchored off anti-paxos beach to swim. The beach itself was cordoned off for guests there, so apart from a distant view it was a swim in the sea! Arrived at Gaios, a lovely place. Had a nice lunch & had a little time for sightseeing before getting back onboard for a long return journey. Not a pleasant experience. Jet 2 need to remove this offering from their excursion booklet!

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Paxos, Antipaxos and the blue caves were nice but definitely not worth the 6 hour trip round journey on extremely overcrowded outdated boat.

The trip was a pleasure. We enjoyed every aspect. The staff is kind and friendly. The scenery is beautiful. Bear in mind the sailing time, the type of the boats used and the number of people who will also join you - this is not a private yacht so refrain from moaning. Thank you Corfu Cruises

Went to see the blue caves and islands of Paxos & Anti-Paxos yesterday with my teenage daughter. ☀️ We were collected from our hotel, and taken directly to the boat. 🚤 We were the last party to sale & got seats on the deck without issue! The staff were trebly and attentive. 😀 The caves are stunning, the water is pure blue went clear! 🩵🌊 My daughter had a swim at Anti-Paxos and then we had food on board- fair price. We also had cocktails and they were sooooo good! 🍹 We enjoyed our free time at Paxos and had ice cream; we then came back to Corfu and the bus dropped us at our hotel!! A long day out but great. 💙🌊☀️ I was worried reading some of the recent reviews, bur honestly we had w great day. The boat was full but that’s how it goes on all these trips! I would definitely reconnect Corfu Cruises.

The programme of the cruise is nice, but!!!! It was extremely overcrowded. I wish somebody showed me allowed capacity of the boat. It was so overcrowded that I was afraid if we are safe. It was impossible to make a pictures without capturing other people. The drinks and food were overpriced and not the best tastes. 5 euros for coffee and 10 euros for Cocktails. The sceneries were very beautiful but the Atmosphäre was bazar.

Communication leading up to the tour with the providers was inconsistent and unsettling. After I reached out to confirm booking, collection time and location as I hadn’t received the needed documentation the day before the tour, during which I was told that they’d get back to me within minutes… unfortunately, not hearing from them… to then having to reach out to them at 10pm before falling asleep to be told that they would of come back to me by 11pm(!). However, once we actually got onto the water it was a really great day out! It felt that they were really going the ‘extra mile’ to ensure everyone’s enjoyment throughout the trip. If the communication wasn’t so bad at the beginning this would have been a full five star trip for sure!
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
