Miravalles Volcano and Waterfalls from Playa Hermosa

This was the last stop on our tour that started at the sloth sanctuary and went to the coffee and chocolate farm and then ended with the waterfall. We walked down the steps into the waterfall area, which was beautiful, but really just stayed about 20 minutes or so then left.

Our guide was great and very informative about the area. I loved crossing the swinging bridge to get to the waterfall. The authentic Costa Rican lunch was great as were the hot springs and mud bath.

We had two couples on our tour and had a fantastic time - Carlos was a great guide for our day of swimming in waterfalls, walking through the forest, and relaxing in the natural hot springs. Spend a day seeing the beauty of Costa Rica, and enjoy a delicious Casado plate!

For our last day in Costa Rica we decided to have a full day out to see the Miravalles Volcano and springs as well as tour the waterfalls (with an additional stop to see the Llanos del Cortez waterfalls on the way). A well organised tour with decent lunch and mix of sightseeing and spa activities at the volcano itself. Our 6 year old enjoyed the day especially the short hike to the Miravalles waterfalls. Andreas was our guide and looked after us for the day. Would definitely recommend this activity.

This was one of our favorite excursions we did all week. We went on 5 different day trips. We had already been to the waterfalls on a separate excursion so since we were the only ones on the trip we were able to skip it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we had a great time talking to him about just costa rica in general on our drive. The suspended bridges were amazing and the mud bath/hotspring/volcano was great. I couldn't recommend this trip enough

We had an amazing time touring the waterfalls, volcano, hot springs and mud bath. The swinging bridges were a highlight and the lunch was amazing! Most of all Carlos was our tour guide and he was the best. He stopped on the way to show us different stuff and explained a lot about Costa Rica. We would definitely recommend him and his company as your guided tour .
