Lake Cave Fully Guided Tour

Пещера - одна из 350 карстовых пещер на юго-западе Австралии. Спускаться нужно на 86 м. Экскурсии в сопровождении гида по мере формирования группы, на английском языке. Внутри пещеры Lake Cave есть небольшое озеро, в котором при освещении отражаются все внутренние сооружения, которые за долгие годы трепетно создавала природа. В пещере Lake Cave туры проводятся в сопровождении гида. Дойдя до конца пещеры, всех усаживают на импровизированную скамью, выключают свет и начинается пусть и короткое, но очень яркое и впечатляющее световое шоу. То тут то там включают подсветку, и взору туристов представляется та или иная картина в пещере с отражениями в воде. Очень красиво! И периодически просят замереть, чтобы ощутить полную тишину и услышать звук падающих в озеро капель. Потрясающие ощущения. Размер нагроможденных валунов внутри пещеры делает тебя песчинкой. И здесь, как нигде, происходит осознание огромности и мощи нашей Земли. Добавляет впечатлений факт, что сталактиты растут на 0,5 мм в год. И получается, что ты проделал путь как бы на миллионы лет назад. В общем, глобально, мощно, прекрасно!

The guide Peter was excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for the topics and experiences he hosts. Would definitely love to come back and do the other caves tours if they are half as good as this one! Thanks

Lake Cave was absolutely stunning. It is a fully guided tour which we found very informative. The 325 steps down into the cave & back up again can be quite challenging but well worth every step. I would thoroughly recommend visiting Lake Cave for an unforgettable experience.

Wonderfully interesting cave to see and we had an exceptional tour guide. We really enjoyed the tour! We were happy to see there was a decent amount of water in the cave and some very interesting facts shared. There are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind.

Very good cave to appreciate Mother Nature doing her work. Our guide for the tour was excellent and informative. The stairs are hard work , especially climbing back up but well worth it.

A very worthwhile experience led by a good guide. The cave is a beautiful natural phenomenon with some unusual - unique - features. The stairs may seem daunting but there’s no rush. Having a guide enhanced the experience.

A well worth visit with unique features deep into the cave. Be mindful that there are many steps down into and out of the cave - over 500 in total. We toured Lake Cave immediately after going round Jewel Cave. It was a great experience, led by our hilarious guide Digby. His enthusiasm was extremely infectious. His love of the caves transmitted to everyone on the tour. And this is an amazing cave. We were apparently lucky to see the lake, because it is it is highest level for 70 years. I definitely recommend this. One points to be aware of is that there are a lot of steps down… And hence a lot back up again. It is not at all for anyone who is very unfit, although there are several stopping points with benches on the way up. I think they said there were around 300 steps. My Apple Watch said I’ve done 76 flights of stairs at the end of this day, which included both this and Jewel cave ,

I visited with my wife & 2 children(10 & 12 years old) in the school holidays @ 11.20. Our tour guide was a gentleman named Digby. Digby was awesome, his enthusiasm & wealth of knowledge made this tour fantastic for all ages. His interaction with all guests (including a military assistance dog) was great. This was by far the best & most informative tour I’ve been on in a long time. The cave itself was full of stalactites & stalagmites with special features unique to this particular cave. Lake cave has the largest suspended table formation in the world. The lighting was also very impressive. I would advise booking online before the day as these tours are often booked out.
