Lake Cave Fully Guided Tour

Пещера - одна из 350 карстовых пещер на юго-западе Австралии. Спускаться нужно на 86 м. Экскурсии в сопровождении гида по мере формирования группы, на английском языке. Внутри пещеры Lake Cave есть небольшое озеро, в котором при освещении отражаются все внутренние сооружения, которые за долгие годы трепетно создавала природа. В пещере Lake Cave туры проводятся в сопровождении гида. Дойдя до конца пещеры, всех усаживают на импровизированную скамью, выключают свет и начинается пусть и короткое, но очень яркое и впечатляющее световое шоу. То тут то там включают подсветку, и взору туристов представляется та или иная картина в пещере с отражениями в воде. Очень красиво! И периодически просят замереть, чтобы ощутить полную тишину и услышать звук падающих в озеро капель. Потрясающие ощущения. Размер нагроможденных валунов внутри пещеры делает тебя песчинкой. И здесь, как нигде, происходит осознание огромности и мощи нашей Земли. Добавляет впечатлений факт, что сталактиты растут на 0,5 мм в год. И получается, что ты проделал путь как бы на миллионы лет назад. В общем, глобально, мощно, прекрасно!

I visited with my wife & 2 children(10 & 12 years old) in the school holidays @ 11.20. Our tour guide was a gentleman named Digby. Digby was awesome, his enthusiasm & wealth of knowledge made this tour fantastic for all ages. His interaction with all guests (including a military assistance dog) was great. This was by far the best & most informative tour I’ve been on in a long time. The cave itself was full of stalactites & stalagmites with special features unique to this particular cave. Lake cave has the largest suspended table formation in the world. The lighting was also very impressive. I would advise booking online before the day as these tours are often booked out.

I suspect guide Digby has a back story that could be made into a movie. His passion and enthusiasm make an already great experience even better. This is a beautiful cave and with such a quirky and fun guide, its made even better. You know he says the same jokes several times a day yet you feel he has made them up just for you which is a sign of a true professional, it was a terrific experience. Don't however take the recommendations about stairs lightly...the walk back is quite strenuous.

Lake Cave has to be my favourite - a fabulous living example of the beauty of our planet. Kate is a terrific guide, who kept us informed and entertained throughout the tour. It’s difficult not to smile in such an awe-inspiring place. Very, very highly recommended!

What an unbelievable experience. The scenery, history and landscape is unforgettable. The guided tour was brilliant. Our guide, Digby, was fantastic. It was so refreshing to see someone who is so genuinely passionate about what they do. He made the experience even bette. I could not rate this experience high enough and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. There is a bit of walking and a lot of stairs, so for anyone who might struggle, something to keep in mind.Other than that, make sure you do this. You will not regret the experience.

Wonderful cave. The guides were great. Be aware, there is a long staircase to the inner caves, I think I was told 385 steps. My partner and I are healthy in our early 70’s and we negotiated them fine, but my I could barely walk the next day from sore muscles. I had to modify some hiking plans the next 3 days.

The excursion was very well organised, with clear communication and directions. The guide spoke clearly and knowledgeably and took the tour at a reasonable pace, accommodating each person's pace and ability. The information was great, and the cave experience wonderful.

Our guide, Lilly, was just lovely. She made our tour informative and she also has a great sense of humour. It was awesome to walk through this beautiful cave and wonder at the age of all the various crystalline formations.

A very beautiful cave experience with a lot of steps! Tom was a great guide and very informative about the cave and its history.

While I was concerned about the steps as my knees aren't great, the pace and railings made this very manageable. What a beautiful place- the Hanging table is spectacular and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. One not to miss!
