Swan Valley River Cruise and Wine Tasting Day Trip from Perth

An excellent day all round. Staff were on top of their game, food was just right and Michael our tour guide and kept the day rolling

I feel a bit mean only rating this 4 stars as the river cruise was awesome, including one of the best lunch platters I’ve experienced. Also, the 2 boutique wineries visited on the bus tour segment were further highlights. Windy Creek offered a huge range of tastings with some different varieties to the usual and Garben Estate was even more of a standout with owner Peter, pouring and describing his wonderful wines. We picked up a couple of his sensational Blanc de Blanc sparking wines - really good For me, what let the tour down was the last 2 stops: The brewery was underwhelming, no ambience and even worse, the beers weren’t great, actually one of them undrinkable. The chocolate factory was fine except 40 minutes was far too long a stop. In my opinion, tweaks to the latter part of the tour would establish the overall rating to a resounding 5/5.

This was a really enjoyable day. A welcome glass of wine upon boarding; snacks to share at tables for 6; a varied savory plate for lunch; and three wine tastings onboard. Then transferred to a coach and were taken to two wineries for tastings, a beer & cider tasting, and then next door to a chocolate shop. This was great value with everything included. As a solo, I enjoyed the company of others, and altogether I had a great day. I highly recommend this tour.

Awesome experience, staff so friendly and helpful made for an unforgettable day from the cruise to the Swan Valley with beautiful scenery including awesome food and wine tasting, then coach to 2 more wineries for wine tasting and cheeses, Swan brewery for free drink and hot chips then a stop at the chocolate factory for our sweet treats. Totally awesome, great atmosphere, everyone was friendly we had a fabulous day. Fully recommend this tour

The most balmy day on the river seeing what only the lucky see. Great food all day and drink plenty. The staff are so accommodating. Really a surprise.

Experiencing The Swan Valley’s wonderful tastes in such an extraordinary way was a highlight of our recent trip. The wineries, brewery, and chocolate factory were all first-rate, and the relaxing river cruise was a fun addition.

A fantastic day. Lunch and tastings on the boat were great. Wineries were good with a wide selection to taste and good descriptions of the different grapes and wines. Chocolate stop was good. Bus drivers were great fun and also a source of information about what we were seeing.
