Borobudur Temple, Merapi Volcano, Prambanan Temple Tour

Today, our lovely tour guide Miko brought my cousin and I from the hotel (which was 30 minutes from the city centre) to the Borobudur, the Merapi Vulcano and the Prambanan temples. It was amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed and were on time at all locations. Furthermore he drove us to an amazing restaurant for lunch nearby the Prambanan temples & recommended we try the famous luwak coffee as our last stop before we went back to the hotel. Overall, the tour was amazing and took up a whole day - but the time flew by. We had so much fun! Therefore, I would recommend taking this tour if you want to fill your day with exploring Yogya’s heritage. :) Having Miko as a driver also added to this experience: he is a very friendly, funny person, and always on time! One last tip: if you’re doing the Merapi Jeep ride on a cloudy day: go for the river-route instead of the bunker. You might get wet. ;)

The organization was perfect and everything in the day went smoothly, we did not have to worry about anything apart from enjoying the activities. Our driver was Fajar and we had a really fun time together! He was really friendly and we spoke about Indonesian culture, knowledge and life in general, great atmosphere to make the rides pass by faster! Fajar was perfectly on time and made sure all was clear for us at the temples, accompanying us to the temple guides and getting us in practical meet-up points. He also brought several water bottles and was open to make various stops if we needed to. We really had a great time. Highly recommended!!

I recommend doing the tour of the temples with the volcano, it was very fun and definitely stunning. We were lucky that the sky was clear and we got to see the volcano completely. The temples are amazing as well. Borobudur has it’s own guides and you go up in groups. Prambanan has the guide as optional but we didn’t get it. It has a large garden area and 2 more temples inside. Pras was our tour guide and he gave us a lot of information, was kind and funny! Thank you everything!

The tour was great. Mister Eko is a very good and friendly tourguide/driver. Borobudur, Merapi and the Prambanan are all very interesting to visit, and due to good guidance from mr Eko it is very easy to combine it all in one tour. I would highly recommend this tour! Thank you mr Eko!

Fucjar isn’t just a driver, he is an high skilled tour guide that does his job with passion and he is able transmit it to his guest. Our experience with him, in the tour of Borobudur and Prambanam, was amazing. Need to be mention also Ricco official guide of Prambanam, he is hilarious and so prepared regarding everything that regards the temple. Definitely recommended!!!

We were very happy with our driver Yusof Eko. He drove safely, was friendly and spoke good English so we enjoyed this tour very much. Entry to each site was very easy. He communicated with us by WhatsApp so we always new where to meet him at every stage of the tour. He even went out if his way to show us the best coffee shop in Yogyakarta at the of our tour. We had a wonderful experience with Fajar! He was punctual, careful, and made us feel very safe throughout our journey. Beyond that, he is a genuinely kind person who took the time to share lovely conversations and insightful information about Yogyakarta and Indonesia. I had an excellent tour of Borobudur, the volcano, and Prambanan. The trip was very well organized and perfectly paced, allowing me to truly enjoy each site without feeling rushed. My guide and driver, Faisal, was incredibly kind, fun to be with, and very well-informed, which made for great conversations throughout the day. I especially appreciated that he took me to a Batik shop, where I found and bought a beautiful handmade piece. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed it very much!

I had a great trip with Faiqu! He was a great guide and the places we went to were incredible. I'd have preferred more time at Prambanan than Merapi but the volcano was still an interesting part of the trip.
