After being collected from the outside of Amber Cove Port, you will be taken to the tour starting point which is just 35 minutes away. Enjoy amazing scenery, muddy paths and a picturesque beach. Enjoy an approximately 1 hour tour of Puerto Plata's Victorian district and then relax on one of the best resort beaches on the north coast. Your English-speaking host will provide you with information regarding the Dominican Republic and historic San Felipe de Puerto Plata. (this is not a shopping tour). You will visit the fort grounds for historical information and photo opportunities, Parque Independencia where you will learn of the fight for independence and restoration period, enjoy photo opportunities at the Umbrella Street and La Calle Rosa (The Pink Street) drive along the famous Atlantic Malecon and then relax at the beach. You will ride along a gravel path through the jungle to the beach and then along the beach with the waves touching the horses’ feet. After a photo session stop with the turquoise ocean in the back ground the ride goes on to a bar in Bergantin beach for a break and possibility to buy souvenirs (or other drinks than included in the tour). If the ocean and streams are applicable you will be offered to swim with a horse which is a great experience.
