●Not just tourist spots! The charm of Tokyo's back alleys! The tour starts in Hikifune, Tokyo's downtown area. It is close to Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree, so it is easily accessible. From March to April, cherry blossoms are in full bloom around the course. There are several points on the tour where you can ride under the cherry blossoms. In addition, between each stopover spot, you will ride through back alleys instead of the main streets. Compared to other cities, Tokyo's roads are said to be more complicated and difficult to understand, but with the guidance of a guide who knows this area well, try to get lost in the "labyrinth" unique to the downtown area. ●Cycling to experience the Edo townscape There are many Edo strolls and city walks, but there are not many bicycle tours. You can enjoy the course at a leisurely pace while imagining the townscape of the Edo period, or enjoy the speed of a light bicycle while feeling the breeze. We will tour Tokyo at your own pace. If you want to watch the REAL Sumo wrestlers up close, this is one of the closest you can get! Let’s watch the wrestler’s morning practice right next to the ring and feel the intense and serious atmosphere. The sound of wrestlers colliding to each other, their breath and the scent of the fragrance they wear are something that you can never feel by watching any videos. You will meet with your knowledgeable tour guide at the station and walk to the stable(10mins walk). Your guide will explain you about Sumo, its history, rules and regulations before entering the stable and then watch it together. You will see the unique traditional sports which is at the same time religious rituals, originally started to entertain the Shinto deities. The Sumo Tournament Experience with Japan Awaits offers a rare chance to witness Japan’s national sport live at one of six official Grand Sumo Tournaments held yearly in Tokyo (January, May, September), Osaka (March), Nagoya (July), and Fukuoka (November). Ryogkoku area well known as Sumo town has many museums of various Japanese traditional themes such as Sumo, Hokusai’s Ukiyo-e Wood block print, Japanese Sword and Edo Museum. We walk along Sumo town while the guide will talk about historical background and lead to the museums. The walking tour starts at Sumida Hokusai museum with 1800 collections of wood block prints by Hokusai and his apprentices. After strolling at Yasuda Japanese garden and Ryogoku terrace café, we visit Japanese sword museum where wide variety of sword, sword mountings, armors and others are displayed and video introduces process of making sword. _ru-RU
