I thoroughly enjoyed this absolutely delicious food tour! Our guide, Haitao, was so knowledgeable, passionate about his home town and its food. Would definitely recommend, and I personally would definitely go again.

Amazing experience of getting to know China/Beijing via this special food tour. Our tour guide Haitao was brilliant, he did fantastic job bringing us around Hutong and introducing the special local delicacies plus histories. He made the night absolutely enjoyable.

Delicious food, interesting walk and a wonderful guide in Winnie. She was excellent and added so much value to the tour . Highly recommend asking for her as your guide.

Strongly recommend going on this food tour through the hutongs of Beijing with mutton hot pot, zhajiangmian and doornail pie some of the dishes we sampled. Grizzo was a brilliant and knowledgeable guide and gave us the history behind the dishes as we went through the tour.

Haitao is one of the best guides we've ever had, and we've done hundreds of tours! We were already a bit familiar with these hutongs, yet didn't know about some of these great local spots. More importantly, Haitao was fantastic at providing insightful cultural and historical information at each spot, giving a great intro each time before we headed into a restaurant.

This was really fun, we were guided to four local family run restaurants, each with a single specialty. We never would have found these ourselves. Both the food and the experience was authentic, and throughout the evening our guide Joe provided history, interesting stories of local life, and background about all the dishes we sampled.
