Everest Base Camp: The Ultimate 14-Day Himalayan Trek
Price From $1,350.00 per person

Everest Base Camp Trekking will give us massive pleasure to introduce you to an amazing Mt. Everest view of the world's highest peak. Perhaps in viewing Everest in this way, you will be satisfying a long detained wish. Without hesitation you will never be quite the same again. Forever since the days of early climbing Everest expeditions, this 8,848m mountain has had a lure of its own, drawing climbers to scale it and trekkers to look on its icy faces. We begin our trek from Lukla after a 30 minute flight from Kathmandu. When we land at that miniature airstrip of Lukla, the adventure really begins. During trekking, we spend several days moving through the homelands of the Sherpa people, and will see Buddhist monasteries in Tengboche, Panboche and close up views of Mt. Everest and adjoining Ama Dablam, measured by many to be among the most attractive mountains in Nepal.

Our Everest Base Camp Trek with Green Valley Nepal Treks was absolutely unforgettable! Special thanks to our outstanding guides Bishwa and Nischal, who did everything to make the trek as smooth, safe, and comfortable as possible. Their professionalism, care, and sense of humor made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Mr. Boss, Boss — it was amazing! We were incredibly lucky in every possible way — not only with the weather, but also with the amazing group of people who joined this journey. Everyone in our team had done careful research before choosing an agency, and the fact that we all independently decided on Green Valley says a lot about the company’s great reputation. It was an amazing adventure from start to finish — perfectly organized, full of positive energy, and shared with truly wonderful people. Highly recommended!

I had an incredible experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Green Valley Treks! From start to finish, everything was smooth and well-organized. The real highlight, though, was our amazing team — guide Bishwa, assistant guide Nischal, and the dedicated porter crew. They were absolutely exceptional: professional, supportive, and always looking out for our safety and comfort. Bishwa’s sense of humor kept our spirits high, especially on the tougher days, making the whole journey not just doable but genuinely fun. If you’re looking for a trek filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable company, I highly recommend Green Valley Treks!

I recommend this trekking agency. I have worked with many, but Green Valley is unrivaled. The highest quality of service, competent guides with vast experience, very kind and helpful porters - I highly recommend them. Furthermore, they are always in contact, quickly respond to messages, and provide comprehensive information. Additionally, even though the quality of their services is excellent, their prices are lower than others. I recommend them! Alicja, tour leader from Poland

Not only our guides Bishwa and Nischal were excellent: carrying, considerate, with focus on safety-first, they also became our friends for the time of the trip. They were informative, funny, and made our time unforgettable. We all have reached Base Camp, and will hold this memory dearly. Highly recommend - Green Valley hires local people, who know their stuff and are a fully Nepalese-owned company. I would choose them again

Though the weather conditions were less than ideal, which prevented my group from reaching Everest Base Camp, our guide, Anil, took great care of us along the way. I appreciated the fact that the group's safety was prioritised, given the unprecedented snowstorm that blocked the path to the base camp from Luboche. At the same time, Anil was spontaneous, joining in all our social media activities and teaching us a lot about the local language and customs. Overall, Green Valley as a company has also taken great care of us, from airport pickup and stay in Kathmandu to airport sendoff on our last day.

I did a 2 week trek to EBC solo (which I didn't think it was going to be, more on that later) with green valley. It was supposed to include Island peak too. I had a very mixed experience with the company, which I'll try and summarize below: The good: 1. The airport pickup and dropoff was very smooth. 2. The guide Parshu was very knowledgable about the area, and great at explaining any questions. The porter Mohan was also very nice and I'm grateful for him carrying my luggage around. 3. The trek was absolutely beautiful, which I guess isn't so much about the company but still. It was in general well planned out with acclimatization days and such, but it seems every operator has basically the same schedule for EBC. 4. The hotel they put you in Kathmandu was pretty good. It was also very close to the office and rest of Thamel which was great and convinenient. The bad: 1. Literally on the first day of the trek I had a stray dog run up and jump on me and started scratching me. I was told rabies is very prevalent in the region, yet both the guide and Arjun assured me it would be fine. I started developing symptoms at the end of the trek, which scared me shitless. I went to the hospital for tropical and infectious disease where they said standard protocol is for anyone with a scratch or bite to get the post exposure vaccine. I was even more dissapointed when I'd heard from others on the trek that had similar incidents that their companies/guides recommended getting it in Namche, which I wasn't even made aware was an option. This then sat in the back of my mind for the duration of the trek, which wasn't great..., and if it had actually penetrated it could've been very dangerous 2. I did ask about group sizes, as I was travelling solo I wanted to make sure I was with a group for the social aspect. I was told average group sizes were 5-6 people, but when I arrived I was told I'd be on my own, which definetly made the trip a bit less fun. 3. I'd specifically asked for glutefree food availability on the trek, and was assured there many local dishes were gluten free. In practice this is not true at all, as basically all tea houses have the same food, and its a lot of noodles, soup (which has flour), pizza, pasta, porridge, bread etc. In practice, you end up eating omellete for breakfast every day (not very filling or carbs for a long day of trekking), and dal bhat (rich with lentils) for basically every meal. While this is not specifically a greenvalley problem, I would've appreciated a bit more honesty here, as diet fatigue definetly became a big problem for me (and other coeliacs I met on the trail). I was told "We will communicate your requirements to our kitchen team to accommodate you", but in practice there is no kitchen team, and there was no accomodation, only restriction! So all in all, as a TLDR, the trek was stunning, the scenery beautiful, the program good, but these negatives definetly semi-ruined it a bit for me. I would certainly recommend Parshu as a guide, but I don't think I would book with greenvalley again. If I were to do a similar trip, I'd go with "Ace The Himalaya", as I met many groups that seemed to have a blast there, and all spoke very highly of them.

Fantastic trek to EBC! Our guide Ambar Banjar was incredible throughout and got us to base camp during a very unprecedented October blizzard! Our porters Raj and Balthasar were also amazing also ensuring our bags arrived on time and dry even through the crazy snow! Always greeting us with a smile! It really was the trip of a lifetime and one that we will never forget thanks to this team! Thank you so much :) 100% recommended Green Valley Treks and Ambar as a guide! :)

We just got back from the 12-day Everest Base Camp trek including a helicopter return and have nothing but positive things to say! The experience organized by Green Valley Nepal was the absolute best. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, everything was handled seamlessly, including airport shuttles, hotel stays, flights to Lukla, trekking permits, helicopter coordination, and everything in between! Green Valley’s organization made the entire trip stress-free and enjoyable. Our guide, Lilamon Tamang, was absolutely amazing. He was so caring, professional, and encouraging to us throughout the trek. He had so much knowledge of the trail and local culture that added so much depth to our hikes through the region. He struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe, encouraging us when the trek got tough, and sharing stories that kept us laughing. Lila was always checking on us constantly, arranging teahouse stays, making sure we felt ok during the trek even offering to carry my pack when I needed a break. I can honestly say the trip wouldn’t have been the same without him! We plan to keep in touch and won’t forget how amazing he made this experience for us! I can’t recommend Green Valley Nepal enough! Their attention to detail, friendly team, and commitment to their trekkers’ experience are second to none. And if you’re lucky enough to trek with Lila, you’ll be in the very best hands. This trip was truly unforgettable.

Unforgettable 9-Day Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return! We had an absolutely incredible experience on our 9-day trek to Everest Base Camp, made even more special thanks to our amazing guide, Lila Tamang with Green Valley Nepal. From start to finish, Lila was kind, informative, and always attentive to our needs. Lila’s knowledge of the region added so much depth to the journey, and he genuinely cared about our safety every step of the way. Whether it was checking in on how we were adjusting to the altitude or making sure we had everything we needed at each stop, Lila was consistently thoughtful and professional. Plus, he was simply fun to be around—his sense of humor and positive energy kept our spirits high, even on the tougher days. The helicopter return from Base Camp was the perfect ending—breathtaking views and a comfortable ride back after an unforgettable trek.
