Authentic Lima: Small-Group City Walk & Local Secrets

Fantastic guide taking us around Lima, giving us the history and current position of the city. Interesting and varied tour (small group - there were 4 of us) with option to ask questions. Highlights included visiting the main square, catacombs, a brief introduction into alpaca hair and tasting churros. You don’t spend too long anywhere so the tour is well paced (keeps it interesting). Transport (and communication around pick up and drop off) was excellent too! Thank you to our guide Maverick who gave us a tour in fluent English (and yes he is named after the Top Gun character!)

This was a wonderful introduction to Lima & its’ history and culture. Paola was a fantastic guide with Gr8 knowledge & enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this tour as an insight into this beautiful city. Sue

Giovanna was a wonderful guide for our walking tour through Lima historic center! Our group was 5 people which was perfect for hearing/listening and asking questions.

Extremely positive experience! As well all know not every vacation goes to plan. I had an issue arriving on time due to an Uber accident. I was able to reach out to the agency who quickly and efficiently put in contact with my guide, Giovanna, who coordinated with me to make sure I could reach the tour. The tour itself kept to the prescribed 2.5 hour timeline, and the group size was perfect as it felt almost personal compared to the other groups of 20-30 people we were seeing. The city and history is beautiful (so are the churros) Unfortunately one spot we had to skip due to protests, which are of course, is no fault of the guide. Speaking of, Giovanna was knowledgeable about every stop, spoke pretty decent English, and was very sweet! She also expanded knowledge outside of just what we saw on the tour, and taught us a little more about Peruvian culture, customs and food. Overall, as a solo traveler I felt this was an effective use of my time and money. I didn't feel out of place in the group, nor did I feel overlooked or lost at any point. As a military service member, effectiveness and efficiency are everything. I can and do recommend this to any Americans traveling looking for a simple way to cheaply fill some time and learn a thing or two about Peru and Lima as a city.

Great tour, Cesar made everyone feel relaxed with his engaging and humorous style. Was able to give a lot of information on the places we visited as well as for Lima more generally. Carlos was a great driver!

Paolo was an amazing guide. He took time to answer our many questions about modern political history and the experience of young people in Lima in addition to a fantastic overview of period architecture and Peruano history. 10/10 guide experience.

Was a small manageable and friendly group. Our tour guide , Mauricio (?) had exceptional knowledge of the tour sites, and of Lima. It was very informative. The tour is a great introduction to the Lima Historical Centre. Great Architecture as well. Pick up and drop off were super easy. I really enjoyed the afternoon Tour.

Silvana, our guide, was very friendly and gave very good information. She even added information to what was relevant/happening around us during the tour. Very helpful in navigating the street and talking to locals along with helping us get to our next destination after the tour concluded. I even reached out to her after the tour for restaurant recommendations and she gave me multiple for different locations around the city.
