Unforgettable Nagarkot Sunrise: Scenic Hike & Himalayan Views

Shishir went above and beyond to make my birthday an amazing one. He explained everything from the culture, even the flowers that I truly admired. He was patient and knowledgeable. I even tried native fruit and food on the tour. I had the opportunity to eat Nepali food in Nepali style. He helped make the day an adventure on top of a tour.

It was a beautiful sunrise and hike through the villages seeing all the locals and animals . Ananta was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to take care of us along the way . He pointed out the mountains and animals and gods in the temple and gave us an idea of what life is like for the people of Nepal . Thank you Ananta !

My Nagarkot Sunrise View and Day Hike was excellent, and I highly recommend it! My guide Madan did an outstanding job, and the driver and car he arranged were also really good. Gopaul was a skilled and very safe driver and the car was new or nearly so. We were at the lookout point just the right amount of time before sunrise and didn't have to rush. The weather was completely clear and we had a breathtaking view of the whole range! Afterward we took time for a nice breakfast buffet at a nearby resort which also had phenomenal views. The day hiking was fun and informative and took us through the countryside and past villagers' houses. The Buddha shrine, suspension bridge and Changu Narayan temple were top highlights. 100% recommneded!

We had a great experience with Ananta! He had so much knowledge and it was inspiring to hear him talk while we walked the beautiful hike through the authentic Nepali countryside! Would 100 percent recommend and we are so glad we booked!

We had a really enjoyable day in the mountains together with Ananta. He is a talented guide with impressive knowledge and good vibes. This was a perfect way to spend a day here in Nepal! Highly recommend!

This was totally worth getting up at 3:30 a.m.! The sunrise over the Himalayas and the view of Kathmandu Valley was spectacular, otherworldly with the mattress of clouds. My guide, Shishir, was excellent. After the sunrise, we had a local typical breakfast in a nearby village and once fortified, headed out on an 8-mile hike through small villages that survive on subsistence farming. Shishir was able to explain local customs along the way. The trail was pretty easy, a gentle downslope most of the way, a couple inclines. The hike finished up at the oldest temple in Nepal, a colorful compound on top of a hill. Very interesting. It was a great day.

It was an amazing trip. I'm glad i decided to do this small hike along with the opportunity to see the Himalayan ranges... The weather wasn't on my side but it was amazing experience. My tour guide Mandan was knowledgeable, informative and was filled with experience that made the whole journey enjoyable.

Ananta did a great job explaining the geography as well as the cultural and religious aspects of people and places we encountered. He was never pushing information on me and let me be when I wanted to just let it all soak in. We had good views of the mountain ranges. I also had a choice between a shorter trip that leads across an impressively long suspension bridge or the longer (15 km total, mostly downhill) trip. I admired the bridge from afar and chose the longer trip. The temple we visited at the end of the hike was very nice and was, due to Ananta's expert explanations, a much more intimate experience as the large temples in Katmandu.

While the mountain and sunrise view is dependent on the weather, we had a good experience on the tour. We had an experience on local breakfeat, tasting local wine as we walk down the hill, and a walk on the suspension bridge. The tour guide and driver are so nice to take care of our team for any request.
