What a wonderful day it was. My 2 dear friends and I were lucky enough to have the tour to ourselves. Alan our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and lots of fun, even carried our purchases to the bus. The wineries were fantastic, so many great wines, if only we could’ve bought more back to Melbourne. A “must do” when in Queenstown. Thank you Alan & Appellation Wine Tour. We will be back.

This was a lovely wine tour! We were driven to Kinross, Gibbston, and Mt Rosa and enjoyed delicious tastings at each. The experience offered a good sampling of the region’s wines, and the locals were very knowledgeable. Mt Rosa also offered a great cheese board. Enjoyed the tour and would recommend!

It was a wonderful experience with delicious wine and cheese. The guide facilitated communication with visitors from other countries, allowing us to have a truly splendid time. I'd love to return to New Zealand and do another winery tour.

Three venues were nice, beautiful views and nice staff. Great little taste of wineries near Queenstown. Cheeses were yummy. The wines mostly Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir as that's what they mostly grow in the cold climate, so not much of a variety. Was hoping to taste bubbles/ sparking wine but didn't.

I booked this tour last minute and I’m so glad I did it was really fantastic. We visited three wineries that were not ones that I have heard of which is a good thing. We got the royal treatment and were able to try $100 bottles of wine with generous pours and a lovely experience. Our driver John made the tour informative and fun. I absolutely recommend this tour.

Good winery selection, awesome people and a very nice guide. The overall time was perfect: not too long, not too short. We were delighted by an ice cream treat at the end.

This wine tasting tour was absolute perfection! We stopped at three neighboring wineries all with distinct flavors from the region. The group was small and the van was comfortable, making the tour even more personalized. John was informative and witty about the wine country and its history as he drove. The trip ended on a high note, especially since all pours were consumed! I cannot thank enough our guide, John, and the company for how overwhelmingly accommodating they were to me! I am so appreciative of their hospitality on my first day in Queenstown and in New Zealand. Highly recommend this tour! Cheers!

My family and I had an unforgettable afternoon with John, who felt like family himself by the time we reached our first vineyard. Thank you so much for your wonderful hosting, John! I hope we meet again!

The bus company were excellent. The three wineries visited were very informative on the wines. Only disappointment was the cheeseboard supplied. I suggest you eat before you go, def not enough for the 12 people at our table. Even though we enjoyed our visit I don’t think it’s good value for money.
