I visited India late July the off season and arrived in Patna on the 30th of July with my godson we were met by Jackie Vishwakarma a guide recommended by a friend.Jackie lives and was born in Bodh Gaya so we not only got to visit the Mahabodhi temple but were taken on the path Buddha would have taken to reach there.Varanasi is where we visited deer park and went to the Ganges to see the sun rise early in the morning did a fascinating street walk through the old town and returned at night to watch the ceremony and rites performed something that should never be missed when visiting Varanasi.
