Next Level You: Exclusive 3-Hour Transformation Tour

I was celebrating my 65th birthday with a week in Paris; I am a relatively good photographer but knew that having a local photographer with me would insure I was at the right place at the right time. I scheduled three tours with Aperture; a day trip to Versailles, an afternoon tour of Montmartre and a night tour of Paris. Clara was the Aperture photographer for all three tours and she was extraordinarily helpful as we walked all over Versailles and Paris. Clara pointed out key shot locations; recommended camera settings and worked with me over these three days to get some great images. Could not have done it without her and I cannot recommend Aperture more highly. Professional, friendly and experienced...a great time.

It's easy to take photos of Paris but you need a guide to take those special ones. Clara took me to some interesting locations and coped well with my especially slow camera!

Absolutely one of our favorite experiences in Paris and hands down best photography lesson our daughter has ever had! Margot met us for a 1/2 day photography tour in Montmartre. She showed us all the hidden treasures in that area, while at the same time really upping my daughter's photography game (she is a 15 year old accomplished photographer who knows her camera quite well). Margot was patient, instructive and pushed her just a bit to make every photo better. My older daughter and I both walked along for the three hour tour. Different from some other photography tours, we were not charged to walk along. The fact that some photographers want everyone in the group to pay $$$ is ridiculous. Margot was an amazing and talented photographer. Next time we are in Paris, we will request her for an evening tour. And the next time we are in any city where there is an Aperture Tours, we will definitely be booking another photography tour with them!

I had a wonderful time with our photographer and learned so much from him (Mathias). I am a beginner and knew very little about my camera and photography. He was very patient and helped explain everything. I will continue to practice so that the next time I am in Paris, I can take the lesson to the next level. Thanks again!

This was by far the highlight of our trip. My 13 year old is an avid photographer and this tour was just for him! Margot was patient and kind and gave him lots of tips and great advise. By the end of the tour he was more confident with his pictures and trusted his “eye” more. Recommend it 100 times over!

It all went so fast ! Clara taught me how to "see" how to put a photo in context and "tell a story"and even wrote reminders for me .I thoroughly enjoyed and absorbed her hints. I had just come back From a Tuscany 9 day landscape tour ,and truly I learnt much more from 3 hours with Clara then the 9 days tour.

I had a great afternoon with Clara, it was great to see sites of Paris from another photographers point of view. Clara gave lots of hints on how to compose my pictures in such a what that they are different from may travel photographs and that was what I was looking for.

We booked this tour for our 18 year old daughter who is an art student and aspiring photographer. Clara was wonderful, asking questions at the beginning about her experiences and desires during our initial moments after our meeting. It was most enjoyable for my wife and me to watch the two of them bond together during our walk along the Seine and through Le Marais, and to notice what caught Clara's eye with regards to composition and setting. She was also a great help for our daughter regarding camera settings to maximize the the aesthetic nature of the photos. I cannot recommend this experience more for anyone who is interested in improving their photo skills in this wonderful city. All communication throughout the booking and confirmation process was extremely professional, and the follow-up after our time with Clara was unprecedented! We were even provided with digital notes of the techniques discussed during our walk together. If you enjoy photography, please give these people a try!

We asked our 16 year old daughter what she wanted to do while in Paris and her number one request was to take Instagram worthy photos throughout Paris. We booked this tour and it was the highlight of her trip. The guide did a great job teaching her (and my son, who actually had a great time too) how to take better photos and took them to great locations throughout the city. She was very personable and my daughter said she is going to miss her. Highly recommend!
