This trip has everything to offer to those who want the rainforest experience. Exploring the majestic and ancient Australian rainforest with its indigenous fauna and flora while being driven in an actual army duck. Our driver was very amusing and gave interesting commentary throughout. The little zoo enclosure is great fun, I especially loved Juliet the wombat and there are a couple of tame wallabies too that provide a great photo opportunity for a close up with them. Our Dreamtime guide enthralled us with their didgeridoo blowing ( my favourite of the day) and spear throwing demonstrations. We all had a go throwing a boomerang and after watched the mesmerising storytelling Pamagirri dancers. Our host Geoff picked us up and drove us to Kuranda village where we spent a the afternoon in the heritage and the hippy markets and popped into the Butterfly Sanctuary and Bird World. After a brilliant day out, Geoff was back again to drop us off at an our hotel. He is very witty and pointed out local places of interest on the way back.

An excellent experience. Really well organised, with lots of itinerary options that were managed really smoothly. Steve did an amazing job. The Rainforest Station was brilliant and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The boomerang throwing and dream walk were very interesting, the army duck tour was fun and the animals were very accessible. My daughters and I really enjoyed our day there. Karanda is also very beautiful with lovely markets.

Tropical Winds group is very organized. Fun activity to do with the family. A little bit of everything from petting and feeding wallaby, learning about the culture and was able to throw a boomerang.

The Rainforest Aboriginal Park was Great. Wonderful place to visit and see the indigenous peoples lives and animals. The Visit to Kiranda to me was a tourist trap, but a beautiful experience. I loved the butterfly 🦋 exhibit and enjoyed many of the attractions and little shops

Visiting the Rainforstation, seeing the different wildlife, riding the duck boat through the rainforest, throwing a boomerang, and watching the tribal dance was an incredible experience. At Kuranda Village, it has more vendors than experiences, and very few vendors are opened on Monday or Tuesday. I did visit the Butterfly Sanctuary and enjoyed seeing all the butterflies.

All of the stops were great, until we got to the last stop, which was the village itself. We were give from 1 until 4 pm to look around/shop, however - - - on Monday, most of the shops are closed. We looked in the very few shops that were open, and then just sat in a park for about 2 hours waiting for the bus to come pick us up.

Aboriginal music, dance and weapon was really good. So was driving and sailing with the Army Duck with a clever guide. A very good experience. 🤗

A brilliant experience from the time they picked me up at my hotel to when I was dropped off. The driver was super friendly and professional. The itinerary provided for the day was very clear and easy to follow. Rainforestation has a fabulous variety of animals and the Army Duck was a wonderfully unique experience. The Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience was a total highlight, especially to be shown how to throw a boomerang and the performance was awesome. I also visited the Butterfly Sanctuary, such a calm and serene place. I did the butterfly release, a special experience. I was wearing a brightly coloured top and had multiply butterlies rest on my shoulder.

Amazing trip, taking in the sights and experiences of Queensland! From start to finish, our day was fantastic! Pick up from the terminal was effortless and the coach ride to the Rainforestation Centre was superb as we got to see the sights that otherwise would have gone unseen had we got the Skyrail there and back. The indigenous experience was superb - from the duck boat, koala holding and boomerang throwing - just brilliant. The dancing at the end just topped everything off. Kids and adults alike loved the experience. Kurunda itself was beautiful too - so much to see and do but perhaps our favourite part was feeding the kangaroos by hand and watching a Joey climb in and out of its mum’s pouch! Rather than return on the coach at the end of the day, we opted to pay for the Skyrail back down to Smithfield terminal so that we could take in the rainforest from above snd stop off to see the Baron Falls. It was totally worth it! The trip was one of the best we’ve ever done! A real trip of a lifetime!
