Unforgettable St Tropez: Private 4-Hr Luxury Boat Escape

Our trip was cancelled due to weather conditions. However, I am writing this review because Matt was great about ensuring that we were safe. He kept us up to date regarding the weather conditions and offered alternatives. We were so impressed by his level of professionalism. We never once felt like we were being forced into doing an activity. His priority was to make sure we were safe and enjoyed the trip. If we ever go back to St. Tropez, we will definitely book this activity with Matt.

We had an amazing family boat trip in Saint Tropez with our skipper, Matt, who’s originally from the UK. He was an excellent guide, incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Despite us having no prior experience, Matt was brilliant at instructing us in various watersports – including wakeboarding, snorkelling, and the inflatable doughnut – making it fun and safe for everyone. From the moment we booked, Matt was quick to respond to messages, and he even advised us to move our trip to a different timeslot to avoid bad weather, which meant we got perfect conditions. We can wholeheartedly recommend Matt and this activity – absolutely worth every penny!

We booked a four hour private boat charter with Matt for 6 adults. Prior to the date he contacted us to let us know we might want to adjust timings as the weather wasn’t looking ideal which turned out to be a great shout as we missed rain and thunderstorms. Matt was obviously keen for us to get the most out of our trip. He provided expert advice which meant we all managed to be successful and enjoy our first wakeboarding experience. He was extremely patient, encouraging and chilled out. We did some snorkelling and jumping off the boat in St Tropez before finishing off with us all enjoying twin donut rides. Matt chatted to us about the area and the boats in the bay and overall was a great host and guide, and we all had a fantastic time. We will definitely do it again when we come back! A great trip with Matt, a great guy and skipper. We had a sunset tour of the gulf of st tropez, stopped for a swim and snorkel and to finish off a donut tow for the kids. An all round fantastic experience.
