I would highly recommend this tour. It was the best tour experience I had during my SEA trip. John/Chou, our national guide, generously shared his wide-spread knowledge about history, culture, geography, religion, sociology of Cambodia and the Angkor temples. He answered our questions with detailed explanations and humour. It is very enjoyable to book a national guide because the accuracy and overall historical knowledge is guaranteed ! English is my third language but John made it easy for everyone to understand - he has a perfect English. Everything was well arranged with a pick up from our hostel at 4.30 am, a nice breakfast to a restaurant on the way to the 2nd temple at 8.30 (5$ for an omelette toast) + free water and refreshing towels in the van. It is an easy tour, as the van will be waiting to pick you up at each temple. We were a small group of 10 people. A few tips : - don’t wait on the left of the old library when arriving to Angkor Wat for sunrise. Instead, go further on the right-hand side for better views and pictures. - you can order the entrance ticket online prior to your visit, or buy it at the ticket office where the van will drop you first. You can pay by contactless card there. - Make sure to use the bathroom at the ticket office otherwise you will have to wait for approx 2 hours to find toilets, as early in the morning they’re for monks only. - Also, watch out for cheeky monkeys ! ;-)

I had a few different tour guides in my short visit to Siem Reap and Pip was hands down the most interesting, informative and efficient guide. So passionate and energetic- hard to get a group moving at the crack of dawn for sunrise! He made my once in a lifetime time trip to a wonder if the world so amazing.

Excellent tour, pick up from the hotel and everything runs like clockwork. Mr Tola is a good guide, the best. Always got his eye on what you want and the driver Mr Yang is there waiting every time you move on. I will be booking the evening tour next...

Highly recommend this tour! Excellent tour guide who is knowledgeable and friendly. Lok was happy to answer all our questions about Angkor Wat giving lots of extra information, even without being asked. Drinking water was provided twice and the bus had air conditioning. A tour that is definitely worth the early morning!

We booked this tour through Lub D where we were staying, it was a 4:20am pickup. From start to finish our guide Lok made the full experience very enjoyable, he was super knowledgeable, passionate and informative about everywhere we visited. They take you to purchase your ticket at $37 (USD), then drive to the first sunrise spot. It’s very well organised! I’d highly recommend this tour, we were out for around 8 hours which included a stop for breakfast too. We got two bottles of ice cool water which was appreciated after each stop being in the heat! Big thanks to Lok and our driver again, we had lots of fun☺️
