Unforgettable Tokyo: Private 6-Hr Custom Journey with Guide
Enjoy an efficient, one-day tour of Tokyo accompanied by a government-licensed and experienced English Speaking guide! Your guide will introduce both modern and traditional aspects of this dynamic city. Due to the enormous size of Tokyo, one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, a one-day tour would probably focus on one small area, which would still leave you in awe at the scale of the city. Tokyo is where you can experience both modern and traditional, and your experienced private guide will help you efficiently enjoy a full day in this dynamic Japanese capital. Let us know what you would like to experience, and we will customize a six-hour tour that's best for you! Note*1: Please select your must-see spots from a list in the tour information to create your customized itinerary. For a private vehicle, please book Private Tokyo Tour with Government Licensed Guide & Vehicle (Max 7 persons) or or Tokyo 6hr Private Tour with Licensed Guide & Bus (Max 15 Pax)

Izumi showed us around Japan. Extreme efficiency in traveling and knowledge of just about every subject I threw at him.

We had a wonderful 6 hour tour with Kenji. I had sent highlights of what we’d like to see and he was very accommodating - fulfilling my request and adding more stops based on our interests. My son was interested in buying a ramen bowl and he took us to the coolest non-touristy part of town to do some shopping for housewares. Our trip to the Tsukiji Market was worth the tour on its own. I can’t imagine going there without a guide. He made tasting recommendations and the history behind the market. We also visited temples surrounding the market and made a stop at the Imperial Palace and Kenji gave us a brief history and an overview of the business district surrounding the palace. Fascinating. I’d highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Kenji!

We had a great Tokyo highlights tour with our most gentle, accommodating and informed tour guide Fumiko. Fumiko prepared in advanced the tour itinerary, sent suggestions by mail and whatsapp and ensured we covered as much as we could an in the time given. Most importantly she provided us with historic and cultural information in every spot we visited. For first time visitors in Tokyo this tour and specially Fumiko makes everything easy to understand and navigate!

We went on a tour with Koba today in Tokyo city. We got to pick some locations we wanted to see and Koba made our wishes come true. Culture, history, modern and nature in 1 tour. We learned a lot from him during the tour, he explained a lot about the culture and the history of Japan and Tokyo. Koba is very nice and polite! He even got us an umbrella because it was raining without being forecast. It was a really good tour and Koba is great.

Sam was an expert travel guide. He helped us prepare an exciting and educational itinerary for the day. We really appreciated his friendly, personable style and detailed knowledge of the area. We learned valuable information about Japanese culture as well. Thank you for such an enjoyable well paced day. It will be the highlight of our trip.

I had a 6 hour private tour of Tokyo with Steve on October 13th. He was a wonderful guide explaining the significance and history of the places we visited, including the Imperial Palace East Garden, the Sensoji Temple and the Hama Rikyu Garden. We traveled to the different sites on the Underground and Steve explained how it was set out and how it worked so I was able to use it on my own the next day. We also had lunch at a small Japanese restaurant and I was the only Westerner dining and the only one to use a knife and fork with the meal! I highly recommend Steve when you visit Tokyo.

Tokyo is a very challenging city not only to circumvent due to their very complicated Subway system and huge landscape but also for foreigners who don’t speak the language…so we decided to book a Private Tour through Japan Guide and it was the smartest move we made on this trip. Our tour guide was Yabby and he was AMAZING! So informative, kind, flexible and personable…he took us through the maze of the Japanese Subway system with ease so we were able to get to all our desired locations in the time allotted…we went to Shibuya Crossing, Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Market, Asakura and Sensoji Temple and Akihabara all within 6 hours which is unreal plus a stop for a quick lunch…Yabby was so accommodating to us and all our needs. The best complement I can give is I would absolutely recommend both this company and especially Yabby to anyone traveling to Tokyo in the near or far future…

We had an amazing day with Bruce! He told us lots of interesting things about Japanese traditions and culture during our tour. Lunch with him at the fish market restaurant was absolutely delicious! Bruce is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun — we can totally recommend him! Thanks a lot, Bruce — see you next time!

Koba our guide arrived on time, was detailed in the complex rail system within Tokyo. Easy to speak with, always responded with historical facts about almost everything we discussed. We chatted about local culinary options (we visited a amazing restaurant locals goto), the religions, currency, new female Prime Minister, sports such as baseball and we even went to a Sumo Wrestling stable to watch a live practice. Kobe was patient, took us shopping along Takeshita Street. 5 stars for sure. As a bonus, Kobe presented us a package at end of day that outlines all our visits to shrines, food, shopping. A total hit with us. Thank you Koba for making such great memories and being an exceptional camera man
