An amazing experience and lovely sunset over the biggest lake in South-East Asia! 109% recommend including the canoe ride too even though it’s a little extra money. Jack was a brilliant tour guide and had a great sense of humor and very good English.

Tl;dr: Our guide, Jack, was such a boss! His English was fluent, in both understanding and in getting himself understood, he used the occasional joke and body language to keep people's attention. All in all a great guide, would definitely want him again for our next trip! The two of us were visiting in the rainy season, so there was lots of water in the canal and in the village itself. Jack showed everyone pictures on his phone about how it looks like when there's no water around, and the difference was astonishing! It's not something I could have even imagined, had he not shown it to us. Along the way, he also told us what was where at a very comfortable pace that was easy for us to follow, even while we were busy taking pictures and videos of our surroundings. And he occasionally threw in a (bad?) joke or two, which I absolutely loved. It keeps people's spirits and attention up and prevents this from being just another dry “here you see this, and there you see that” tour. And the information he provided was really interesting, too! Jack also informed us when we were arriving at a place where we could purchase some refreshments and also a canoe(ish) trip through the jungle, which we did and it was absolutely worth it! (I believe this trip is only available when there's water, otherwise it would be a walk instead, so keep that in mind.) Lastly, before I forget it, I was surprised to notice that he also remembered everyone's names, which I don't think he needed to do, but it was a really nice touch. So yeah, all in all, the perfect tour. We were lucky with the weather and the season, but most of all, we were incredibly lucky with our tour guide! Thank you!

I spent a long time looking for a trip to the floating markets and booked this one. Everything was as good as we hoped. I was sent a watts app to confirm collection time from the hotel. Collection was prompt. The guide ‘Happy Tear’ spoke clear English, he was very informative, helpful and extremely attentive to the groups wellbeing. We thought this was well organised and exceptional value for money.

Very nice and beautiful tour to the floating village. It was very interesting to see and learn about the villagers way of life. Our guide, Meng, and the driver, Mr. Handsome did a really good job to make us all feel comfortable!

I visited the floating village on a wooden boat, gliding slowly through calm waters surrounded by houses built on stilts. The locals waved as we passed by, children smiled, and fishermen worked quietly on their small boats. Later, I took a canoe to get closer to the narrow canals and hidden corners of the village. From the canoe, I could see daily life unfolding — people cooking, washing clothes, and repairing nets right above the water. It was peaceful, fascinating, and unlike anything I had ever seen before — a reminder of how people adapt beautifully to their environment.
