What a fabulous way to see Kyoto. Cases is an amazing guide with lots of historical information and funny stories. The pace was.easy and he took us to a fabulous local restaurant for lunch. His Japanese, Portuguese and English were excellent.

This is an excellent tour to see the city and key tourist spots. The e-bike is highly recommended, but be aware that you will be biking and walking all day. Cass is a fantastic guide, I felt safe all day and his knowledge of the areas, culture and history is excellent. My only advice is to be in enough physical shape to sit on a bike for several hours; if you can handle it, this tour is the way to see some highlights as well as great off the tourist path highlights of Kyoto. We loved it!

Cass was our guide and was excellent. In every way. He has been living in Japan since he was a teenager so has an extensive local and cultural knowledge of the area. In addition his English skills are exceptional and he is a great communicator with a relaxed sense of humor. Very friendly, outgoing, warm and personable highly recommended

We booked what we thought would be a group bike tour, but it ended up being just my wife and me—with Rob as our guide—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The experience felt intimate, friendly, and truly local. Rob shared incredible history about the shrines and neighborhoods we rode through, and he took us to spots we never would have discovered on our own. This was hands-down the best thing we did during our two-week trip to Japan. If you want to see Kyoto’s major highlights and the hidden corners most visitors miss, a bike tour is the way to do it. The added bonus? Getting to know Rob. We loved the thoughtful conversations and philosophical tangents throughout the ride—he’s as insightful as he is knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommend this tour. An unforgettable way to experience Kyoto.

Cass was a brilliant guide for the full day bike ride around Kyoto. The full day tour highlighted many of the sites, whilst keeping active and outdoors. The e-bike option was worth the upgrade. Cass helped us to understand the local vibe and was very knowledgeable in his history and understanding of the area. I also really wanted to thank Cass for meeting our group needs on the day, adapting as we needed and playing Metallica to keep our people calm and engaged in the day!! He is amazing!!

Really fun tour! Ray is an amazing guide, super friendly and knowledgeable. It was really fun to ride around Kyoto and see different parts of the city. The different sites were amazing, the lunch stop was yummy, and the day was paced really nicely. Highly recommend!

Outstanding! If you have limited time in Kyoto this full day tour packs it in but without the traffic jams. Instead ride from destination to another via quiet lanes next to running streams, through the Imperial gardens etc and quaint neighborhoods. We could have never discover it on our own. We commend it in a heartbeat! Thank you Peter for an unforgettable day learning about Kyoto.

This was an OUTSTANDING tour for Kyoto especially if you have only a few days. We were able to see SO much in just one day including rice fields. Biking thru streams and the Emperi gardens. Peter was a fantastic guide and we learned so much about the Shinto and Zen shrines. It was such privilege to speak to an American who has living in Japan for over 20 years! We LOVED every miniute!

My husband and I did the full day bike tour, led by Cass. Although the description advertises 5 stops, it felt as though we saw much more. For example, we got to experience a beautiful long stretch of dedicated cycleway through kyoto, traversed the backstreets, and sampled really yummy Ramen for lunch at a local restaurant. After spending a week on our feet, walking around various Japanese cities, it felt really good to use some different muscles and give our feet a break! Travelling by bike lets you scoot around a little bit faster, and with Cass's knowledge of the city we didn't have to worry about trying to navigate between sites. Cass was delightful! He was knowledgeable about the city and sites he took us to, and had a great sense of humor. I think we hit up the most popular sites first and last which helped with the crowds. I would recommend this tour to those with only a day or two to spent in Kyoto, as it is a unique way to see the highlights! Great tour!
