Unforgettable Budapest Night Cruise: City Lights & Danube Magic

We had an evening Danube cruise with 1 drink included last night. What a wonderful experience. A fantastic way to see Budapest & admire the architecture of the city illuminated at night. Equally fascinating were the numerous river cruise ships docked along the quay. We caught a glimpse of the passengers enjoying their evening. The embarkation & disembarkation were pretty seamless & the staff onboard were friendly & polite. I wouldn’t have missed this for the world.

The city looks beautiful at night. Overall experience to onboard and off-board is pretty organized. It feels very touristy but it is supposed to. I’d try it once.

Lovely evening trip along the Danube , we saw the expected sites and was better with the main landmarks lit up. Disappointing that the windows wouldn’t open with ease to allow decent photos without flash rebound

Pretty good show. Boat was clean and service was great. The recorded audio was a little out of sync and headset only worked if you held the connector in a certain way. But view was great and would recommend it.

The cruise is fantastic! At night it turns impressive buildings magical. Comentary during the cruise was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great experience with wonderful views of both Buda and Pest! I highly recommend going for sunset. The included drinks were a nice bonus!

Bring a coat in October if sitting outside. It’s best at night. The commentary is needed so out the headphones on

Stunning views of buildings by the river. Recommend at night when darker. Drinks are brought to your seat and you have an audio guide via headphones of historic buildings

I went in October in the evening. Dress warm. Sit on the right side of the boat to have the best view especially of the parliament and if you sit on the top (outside) sit near the TV to get the full visual and explanation.

I was disappointed with this trip. The boat smelt of sick and was not very atmospheric. It didn’t go very far up the river nor around St Margaret Island. It was only for an hour. There was a television showing you the sights but we wanted to see the sights out of the window all lit up. We weren’t told whether the building being talked about was on the left or right.
