Unforgettable Budapest: Danube Dinner Cruise & Folk Show

Food is excellent, great entertainment, traditional dance non stop until ship dock. Our of six very pleased with great experience.

The musicians and folk dancing performers were excellent although it would have been nice to have someone provide the names of the songs and the dances. The staff was very polite, friendly, and attentive. The reason for my rating was related to the dinner which was disappointing. There was plenty of food but unfortunately the hot food was not even lukewarm. I could tell the taste would have been very good (for instance the stuffed cabbage) but not being at the correct serving temperature made it very unappealing. I ate the cheeses, breads, and cold dishes like the salads.

It was an enjoyable evening. The boat was lovely and the service wonderful! The food was tasty and the entertainment more than met my expectations.

We chose the 12 course option, boarding time was 6.30, we got there slightly before that and there was a small queue. It moved quickly, we were greeted with a drink and rake to our table which had water and a small bowl of Hummus and crudités. A waiter introduced himself and said we should order drinks from him. We only saw him once more to order our inclusive drinks. The buffet was set out in the middle of the room with tables at either side. It was opened quickly and there were a good range of dishes along with soup,cheese, a cold meat board, bread and butter and fruits. This remained open for most of the cruise and there was plenty of it. The entertainment was good, all came round to your table for pictures and a band came to play for you. The sights along the Danube are lovely, however the lights inside the cabin made getting a picture difficult, I only realised there were outside smoking areas towards the end of the trip. There were announcements at the beginning but we couldn’t hear them clearly. Overall lovely experience, really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Amazing views and good food, but the band played all sorts of music (including titanic, which was obviously not Hungarian) and there were no dancers. Overall a good experience, but think there should be more clarity on the entertainment offered.

The food was good. The performance was good, if not excellent. It was really warm in the dining hall so a bit uncomfortable staying there for almost 2 hours. Also, it was not easy to see outside view which was the purpose of the scenic river cruise.

Cruise was fantastic but the waiter was not very nice, as we booked in advance, soon as we had to pay for drinks he was all over us like a rash he needs to go on a peoples skills course

The cruise was amazing the food was awesome Music and folk gave a special touch to everything. Highly recommended for couples and families

This was the first time I’ve actually found the food on a dinner cruise to be really good! The server was wonderful, very friendly, always smiling, and genuinely caring. The dancers were great fun and took the time for photos with everyone without ever seeming bored or rushed. The musicians were fantastic as well, happily playing songs on request. Overall, this was by far the best dinner cruise experience I’ve ever had!

The events organized very well and made everyone had a relaxing and wonderful evening. We were enjoying the evening.
