Stark was a fabulous guide explaining some of vietnams history as well as local stories and in particular how Vietnamese people live in the Mekong area . His humour made us laugh and added to the experience The two day trip gave us great insight and exposure to this important area of Vietnam . Seeing how rice and coconuts are used from end to end was fascinating. The various forms of transport were great - car , boat , tuk tuk, bicycle ! The accommodation in the bamboo eco homestay was amazing . Such a beautiful setting Food and snacks everywhere were brilliant . Thank you Stark for a truly truly memorable trip

My wife and I were on our first trip visiting Vietnam and had decided to finish off our trip visiting the Mekong Delta. Our small group trip ended up being a private trip on our second day visiting the Cai Rang floating market (most probably due to insufficient numbers to make up a small group for Day 2). Our guide (Ethan Luan) and driver (Hau) were excellent. Ethan’s English was very good and his commentary about the sights and his responses to our queries about various cultural aspects of life in Vietnam were excellent. We had thoroughly enjoyed our trip out to the Mekong Delta, and recommend it highly if you had a bit more time to spare for Day 2.

James was our guide and we had an amazing time! We did great stops along the way and he shared a lot of interesting information with us. And on top, the floating market was a great experience.

Amazing trip. Stark our tour guide shared many interesting historical facts about the history of Vietnam and the local places we visited. A stay at the Bamboo Eco Village is a must for serenity , surroundings and the staff were very friendly . The highlight was an early morning boat trip to the floating markets.

Vinh is a great and knowledgeable guide. The tour was organised in a very smooth way, no hassle, no excessive waiting times and well adjusted to our needs. We learned a lot from Vinh about Vietnam, its history and culture. A big surprise was the Home stay at the Bamboo Village as we did not expect such a nice and comfortable resort in that remote place. Also we appreciated their efforts in sustainability. Thanks for the great experience 😊

It was was our 30 years anniversary and we booked 2 days 1 night group tour. Our lovely tour guide Luan confirmed everything a night before and texted that he is waiting for us 10 minutes before the pick up time and said not to rush, just informed us that he is there. The car with the very courteous driver Thang was waiting with the air conditioner on, which was also very nice. Although we booked for a group tour, we were the only tourists there, so we had Luan and Thang all to ourselves 😊 Luan speaks good English and he told us a lot about history of Vietnam and about places we visited. The tour was very informative and interesting, easy to follow and no pressure at all. Overnight accommodation is very clean and setting is romantic. We are well travelled, but first time in Vietnam and loving it so far. It somewhat similar to Thailand 20 years ago, so if you think to explore it- now is a good time. Special thanks to our lovely lovely tour guide Luan who made our Mekong Delta tour so flawless ❤️

This was my most wonderful trip with my son. very well organized around exactly how we needed our trip to be..I was keen to learn the local culture and see local village homes and cook and eat their food :) and my son was keen to cycle around the village and learn about village people. Seeing floating market , noodle factory and eating seasonal fruits was great. Night at bamboo eco village stay was luxurious and refreshing. Nam our travel guide took such good care of helping us understand about vietnamese culture, he is very knowledgeable , positive and full of energy :) and always smiling !! Thanks Nam and Asiana link for making our trip totally worth it !!

We wanted a small group tour that would give us a great experience and insights into life on the Mekong Delta - and that is what we got. We went with Asiana based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. The arrangements were impeccable - the contacts beforehand were good and we were collected from our hotel at the allotted time. The host (Nam) cheerfully introduced himself and off we went, collecting another 10 intrepid travellers on the way. After the expected 2 hour drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned, minibus we started to experience life on the Mekong Delta, in a series of ever smaller boats learning, amongst other things, how coconut milk is extracted and coconut candy made. The other guests were all engaged and Nam happily answered questions throughout. After a delicious lunch we said good-bye to the other travellers who had chosen the one-day option and continued on our adventure in Nam’s good hands. Having driven to Can Tho, we arrived at our home stay. We hadn’t really known what to expect but from the moment we met Mrs Hung we knew we were in good hands. After helping make some vegetable spring rolls we sat down to a simple but delicious spread of fresh, local delicacies - including the spring rolls. We asked Mrs Hung and her son (as well as our tour guide, Nam) to join us, and spent the rest of the evening getting to know them and (maybe) helping them learn a little more English. The accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable, with AC, and we slept well until our alarm went off at 05:00 so that we could enjoy breakfast before an early trip to the floating market. Getting there early, as Nam recommended, was the right thing to do, as it was much less crowded than it would be when we left, as would the visit to the Old House where we made rice pancakes. If you have time for the two-day tour, it’s worth it to see some of the less crowded sights of the area. We would highly recommend that you go with Asiana if you are planning a trip to the Mekong Delta. The more you are prepared to put into it the more you will get out of it, and if you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, or just trying not to stay in yet another hotel, then Hung Home Stay is the place for you. Thanks again to Asiana for arranging the tour and to Nam for showing us the Mekong Delta.
