Rotterdam Zoo: Skip-the-Line Breathtaking Wildlife Oasis

Beautiful zoo. Highly recommend going here with kids. The aquarium is the best part. Lots of places to get a quick snack and lovely staff. There is quite a large range of animals. This zoo is way bigger compared to Artis, the zoo in Amsterdam.

This is a must visit for all the family. Nice. Variety of animals. Spacious zoo. Nice to see polar bears but they were separate and looked far to hot exhibiting boredom symptoms as the large one kept walking the same path and looking to see the other one for company but sadly they were kept apart. There are not enough signs to find your way around and at least one large cafe was not opened.

This was by far the biggest Zoo I have ever seen. I would highly recomment this we where in total 8 persons including two persoons in a weelchair and one child. The facility is proper for all ages. Many atractions as well as souveniers shops, resraurants, bathrooms.

Very good value for money. Huge with lots of interesting facts. Also breeding programme for some endangered species. Environmentally friendly. Just a few stops from the port and in total 10-15 minutes walk. Got water taxi back for €5 good fun but not for those of you with a bad back.

Absolutely fantastic. Really fabulous zoo with an amazing range of animals in humane enclosures. The aquarium was out of this world. It takes several hours to visit all the exhibits in lovely landscaped settings.

The zoo is fantastic. Lots of different animals to view. Loved it. Only small complaint being that I think the sign posts could be better and easier to get a bearing on where to see what animals. So, maybe have them numbered as in 1, 2, 3, and so on. And on the map too.

I love visiting big cities zoos. Diergaarde Blijdorp in Rotterdam is a great attraction, for sure! Get ready to spend a whole day BUT you will never regret it! Please, go and visit that bio-park, it's eco friendly and most of animals whose care is assured are endangered species in nature.

Firstly, the concession for disabled people was very poor… only 9 euros off. The zoo itself was very poorly set out. Very confusing and wasted loads of time trying to navigate it. The food in the main restaurant was 10/10. Animals were ok and seemed happy enough although was overall crowded with screaming kids and some screaming adults. Maybe skip if you are just visiting for a weekend in Rotterdam… better places to see.

OK so you have sometimes a bit wary of Zoo's You never know if the animal welfare will be good. No worries about Rotterdam Zoo all the animals we saw were perfectly looked after and all seem quite happy. This Zoo is huge and if like me you have problems walking you may have to get in one of the wheelchairs the Zoo has you can use them for a €50 you get the money back it did make my day a bit easier. Great cafe on site. We didn't manage to make it all the way round so we will be going back.

If you love a day out at the zoo. This is definitely one you should visit. There is so many animals to see, scenery is amazing to walk around and enjoy. One of the best ones i have been too. Just be prepared to walk alot. Recommend 100%
