Fiji's Mud Pool Magic: Giant's Garden & Village Immersion

We had the most lovely experience with our tour guide. His name, unfortunately I didn’t write down. But he was amazing. Very knowledgeable & so easy to get along with. Nothing was a problem. He picked us up on time from Club Wyndham. He explained the meanings & history of the Temple. The village was very interesting. The Sleeping Giant Gardens very tropical & lots of different plants & trees. The Mud Pool was such a different experience. Felt so good after. Very well organised by all involved. Loved our day out. Big thanks to our guide.

We did the CFC Hot Spring Mud Pool, Garden of the Sleeping Giant & Village Visit Half-Day Tour with Xplore Fiji, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Our guide, Manoj, was outstanding — punctual, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He gave us the flexibility to shape our own experience, letting us decide how much time to spend at each stop. We visited the beautiful Hindu temple, explored the Nadi markets and downtown shopping area, strolled through the lush orchid garden beneath the Sleeping Giant, enjoyed the mud pool and natural hot springs (where we added on a relaxing massage), and wrapped up with a warm and welcoming village visit. The mud pool and hot spring were definitely the highlight — it’s the only location in all of Fiji with a natural hot spring, and such a unique experience! The private tour made the day feel relaxed and personalized. Everything ran smoothly, and we learned a lot about local culture and history along the way. Would absolutely book again with Xplore Fiji — highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-paced, immersive, and fun day around Nadi.

We were treated with so much respect and friendship. The guide was so knowledgeable about all things to do with fiji and explained all facts clearly. The village was so interesting and we learnt so much about Fijian culture. The gardens were quite beautiful and our guide knew so much about the plants and trees. The mud experience was very interesting and nothing i had ever done before. Great fun. The whole half day was terrific and our guide and bus driver were fabulous 👌 👏

Manoj was a fantastic guide and provided a private tour of the great things to do in Nadi. He even stopped around to some local places I had asked about and made sure to give plenty of time at each location. We went to the temple, market, garden, mud pool, and a nearby village. Overall, a great day and I highly recommend!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Ali as our driver during our stay in Fiji, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Manor, the tour guide was excellent! He went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. He’s a very careful driver and let us spend as much time as we needed at each attraction. I highly recommend!

We really loved our tour of the "First Landing" village and learned much more about Fiji customs both before and after colonization. The Garden was delightful even in the rain we had. And the mud, soak, massage experience (massage does cost extra but was worth it for us!) was wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and it was a great experience.

Didn't realise this was a private tour so that was a bit of a surprise. The tour driver was friendly and knowledgeable but it was a bit strange having a personal guide for me as a solo traveller as I was expecting a small group tour (I clearly didn't read the description very well). The Mud bath and Hot Springs was definitely the highlight of the trip. The garden of the Sleeping Giant was also quite lovely and peaceful. The village tour wasn't what I was expecting - was quite short and and felt a bit awkward and rushed.

This was a good day except we were taken to the temple and a retail outlet which was not part of our package. Our driver (Ali) was very understanding and went out of his way to make sure our day was enjoyable. The sleeping giant garden and the mud pools were well worth the money and the experience was wonderful but the highlight of our day was the visit to the village. What a culture experience.
