Bali Photo Magic: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace & Hidden Gajah

We had the best day exploring Bali with our amazing tour guide, Kadek! From the moment he picked us up, he made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed to enjoy the whole experience. His English was perfect, and he shared so much fascinating information about Balinese culture, history, and local life throughout the day. Kadek was incredibly friendly, kind, and professional — we never felt rushed and could truly soak in every moment. It felt like spending the day with a friend who genuinely loves what he does. We can’t recommend Kadek enough. If you’re visiting Bali, ask for him — you’ll have the most memorable experience!

Suli is an amazing person and an even more amazing guide! My partner and I were lucky to have him all to ourselves on our trip, and we’ve already requested him for our next one because he’s simply the best. Suli is patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable — we loved learning from him about Balinese culture and history. Anyone who gets Suli as their guide is truly lucky!

My east bali trip was very comfortable and peaceful enjoyed the journey with my tour guide Mr Yogi spoke good English he explained very nicely and answered. Great day to discover Bali, country, people and culture. You start very early in the morning and have opportunity to see famous Gate to heaven. Having weather cooperating helps.

We did a private tour of East Bali and it was fantastic and really exceeded our expectations. The communication with our driver, Indra, was fantastic, and he made 100% sure he was picking us up from the right place and was even early on the morning of the tour. Indra was really personable and made the whole day really enjoyable. We had a couple of choices on what we wanted to do, and even got to do an extra photo stop, which was great. We got to the first stop (Lampuyang Temple) nice and early and didn't have to wait long for our turn. We had a running joke the rest of our holiday when taking photos, saying 'next pose' because you hear that a lot, haha. It was really good fun. Next stop was a luwak coffee plantation. This was great and we really enjoyed tasting all of the coffee and teas and we purchased some coffee as well (which was 100% fine to bring home to Australia). The lunch we had was phenomenal (I am vegetarian, but my other half eats anything) the view was amazing. We walked down to the river, which was so clean, and had a look around - I believe this was in Sideman. Indra's driving was great and he was a wealth of knowledge during the day. Thanks for an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. We got to see the mountains and the temples ans the whole experience is exactly why we came to Bali. Our guide Dewa Gantaz was first class. He made sure we were taken care of the entire time. He was the best. If you get Dewa as your guide you are in for a good time!

We had the most amazing day visiting the Gates of Heaven with our guide, DEDE! From the moment we were picked up, everything was seamless — comfortable car, great communication, and lots of smiles along the way. DEDE shared interesting stories about Balinese culture, religion, and local life, which made the long drive feel short and enjoyable. Once we arrived, he knew exactly where to go, helped us skip the confusion at the temple, and took the most beautiful photos for us (even helping us find the perfect poses and angles!). We really appreciated DEDE’s patience, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. You can tell he loves showing guests the real Bali. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip — we highly recommend booking with DEDE if you want an stress-free, fun, and truly memorable experience!

Best day in Bali so far, we saw a lot in one day! The first visit was breathtaking, the second attraction was super pretty, and lunch at the resort was absolutely delicious! The photos came out great :D The vehicle was comfortable and Agung was able to explain everything about the history behind the sites. I never felt rushed exploring, Agung’s English is impeccable and he’s funny so it made the long car journeys go quick :D
