Raka was a fabulous guide that gave us a full experience in one day of Ubud, Indonesia. He was very engaging, spoke excellent English and tailored our day to what interested us most. I would highly recommend a day with Raka!

We spent the day with Aris from best of Ubud and we're quite certain he is indeed the best. Nothing was too much trouble for him all day and he explained everything we were seeing from its traditional or religious standpoint and we learned so much. They are very keen to only show you what interests you as an individual, and will cut short or extend a stay in a heartbeat. I do use a folding mobility scooter that can get in the way but not with Aris, he loaded and unloaded it and set it up for use in seconds like he did it daily, I appreciate the help too as it was a hot day. He chose a great restaurant for lunch after questions about the type of food we liked, and his suggestion was outstanding, I haven't enjoyed food as much for ages ( and we're part of a pretty satisfying cruise too); it was so fresh and nicely prepared in ashamed to admit I forgot the name, but it wasn't far from the rice terraces, had a lovely bamboo roof and the lower level was built around a lake. Unbelievably reasonable cost at barely 40 CAD for 3 Inc a couple of drinks. The car we were in was a nice Toyota with good rear a/c and the scooter lived in the boot. The car was perfectly comfortable but the traffic delays are pretty wild and you dont cover the ground fast at all. And its hot! Great firm, excellent guide and driver, thanks Aris

This tour was nothing short of spectacular. We got to see the monkey forest, local wood carving, temples, Luwak coffee tour, waterfall, and rice terraces. Rio was our driver and was very accommodating the entire day. He picked us up on time and was very informative on Balinese culture the entire day. All of our admission fees to the attractions were covered by the tour fee which made the day seamless. Rio joined us at each place and gave us background on each site. Crowds were not an issue as we came when it’s off season. I would highly recommend this tour, you get to see all Ubud has to offer plus some. Rio was a great driver and tour guide.

Rudi, our driver and guide, was absolutely awesome! On time, super friendly was a wealth of knowledge and really made the whole experience incredible. We learned so much from him, not just about the tour sites, but about Bali in general. Plenty of laughs and a great time all round could not recommend highly enough!

My friend and I did a full day tour with Raka yesterday, visiting the rice terraces, waterfall, the monkey forest, Batuan temple, and two art centers (silver and batik). We enjoyed all of them, and especially enjoyed seeing the flying foxes (fruit bats) at the monkey forest. We also had a chance to visit a coffee/tea company and do some tastings. Everything was delicious. Especially excited to taste Luwak coffee! Raka was a great guide, very fun and kind. He answered so many questions about Balinese religious practices, history and culture! This was our first visit to Bali so we had many. He was very flexible to our interests and we were able to spend as much time as we liked at each place. We would highly recommend Raka as your guide for the Ubud area!
