Versailles & Marie-Antoinette: Exclusive Private Royal Escape

Our guide, Anne-Laure was excellent! Became a fast friend. We felt like we had a new member of the family by the end of the day. She was sensitive to our interests and desires throughout the day. We saw as much of Versailles as we could in an entire day. Thank you!

We had the MOST incredible time with Rose on the private tour of the Palace and Grounds of Versailles! Rose’s knowledge of Paris on our way out of town and throughout the tour was top notch! She was honestly the BEST guide we have ever had and we would HIGHLY recommend this tour and especially Rose as your guide!

Can't sing enough praises about this excursion. Our guide, Chris, was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. There is no way i could tell you in writing how beautiful Versalles is but you should definitely go. Also enjoyed Marie Antoinettes personal house where she took the children. Enjoyed walking around the grounds. Highly recommend this excursion and ask for Chris, by the way he knew everybody we encountered!! Thanks, Chris for a delightful experience.

Looked forward to seeing Versailles. Have booked private tours with thus company before. This time not as good as before. Booked all day tour with private guide. First the tour guide Chris showed up a half hour late as he went to wrong hotel even though the instructions were very specific. Informed operator prior to tour of mobility issues; however guide seemed annoyed. During the tour at Versailles, ran into issues that guide did not know gates and miffs were out of order (even though he does this tour daily and has for over 30 years). He left my wife somewhat stranded at o e point causing her to back track by herself over 500 meters. He seemed to want tour to be over as he did not make at the stops on the itinerary (missed Petite and Grand gardens). For the money spent ($1500 for two people) did not get value that should have been provided. Like stated, have used company before (Normandy full day private tour) - have full understanding of what to expect. This time expectation were NOT met v

Carlos was our fantastic guide for the day. We found him to be friendly, entertaining & very knowledgeable! Altogether we had a most enjoyable full day at the Palace of Versailles & grounds and can thoroughly recommend this tour especially if you want to see it all in one day & not least because they fetch you & drop you off at your hotel afterwards! One of the best tours we’ve experienced in a long time! Our tour guide Anne-Laure (Annie) gave us an exceptional day of exploring Versailles. We started at the main Versailles Palace, and walked through Marie Antoinette’s private and prized estates. Annie explained everything very thoroughly as we strolled through some of the most important times of history. It was amazing to be able to go to Versailles and have an exceptional tourguide to lead us along the way! Thank you Annie! Definitely will recommend this tour to anyone who is planning to visit Versailles!

The palace was great, and grand, and full of history, but the country palaces where amazing for people that enjoy outdoors and a simpler life....

Guide was excellent. The car ride to Versailles was comfortable and stress free with pickup from hotel.

Zara picked up on time and gave us tour of areas of paris on way to Versaille. She speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable and passionate about history. She found a beautiful lunch spot and ensured we were looked after. Palace, apartments and gardens all beautiful. Zara treated us like king and queen. Thankyou Zara!

Fantastic experience! Walking through history while learning so much. Zara was very nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. We had an amazing lunch on the patio of La Flotille and rented bikes to explore amazing groves. The whole day was a delight!
