Private Versailles: Palace Secrets & Sweet Macaron Indulgence

Did a private half day tour with Paris to Versailles company. It included pick up at the hotel in a Mercedes, guide the full time and drop off at the hotel after the visit. The guide, Luigi, was outstanding - very knowledge about the history of Versailles and regaled my wife and I with stories about the place. Would highly recommend him as well as the company.

We booked the half day private Versailles tour and it did not disappoint. We met our guide outside the gates and proceeded to the gardens as our entry time was a bit later. Our guide "Mattew", was very informative and continued to adapt our tour to our needs. We had a lengthy visit out side in the gardens and then proceeded in to the tour of Versailles. The tour satisfied all our questions and needs, would recommend!!

We had a lovely morning with Monty at Versailles. He was prompt and delightful. It was great being able to go through the much shorter guide-only line instead of waiting in the huge general entrance line. He has an immense amount of knowledge and he was able to show us the highlights in an efficient manner. I had my 12 year old daughter in tow, so 3 hrs was just the right amount of time to hold her interest.

Perfect amount of time and balance between the palace and gardens. Wonderful car service with a tremendous guide who explained the history on our ride.

We had a fabulous, memorable, educational, and FUN tour! We highly recommend this tour and really want to thank "H" for all his knowledge.

We had an amazing day touring the Palace of Versailles, and were truly blessed to have Monty as our guide. Monty had a passion for history and provided us with in depth detail regarding the history of the palace and its inhabitants (King Louis, Marie Antoinette) We also had a private driver that transported us back and forth from Paris. Highly recommend!

Versailles would be overwhelming without a good tour guide. Leah was very informative and helped us understand this historic place. We especially appreciated seeing where Benjamin Franklin came to solicit the French for support in the American revolution. Pickup was exactly on time and she called to let us know. A+

Seeing Notre Dame after the restoration was amazing and having a private guide to point out all the details was priceless! We spent about half the time walking around outside the area around Notre Dame and half inside. Would have liked to extend the tour by an hour to have more time inside. So much to see! Thank you for a wonderful tour and great guide.

The guide, Louis, was very knowledgeable and presented the information well. We did not have to wait on any lines, either to enter the gardens or the building. He made sure we were in the best locations to get the best views. He had an art background and wad able to give us wonderful insight into the artwork. The half day was planned well with ample time in the gardens and the building.
