Unforgettable Ghent: Historic Bike Adventure & Hidden Gems

Tim was our host for the bike tour and he was very friendly and nice. He told us all about the places that we were visiting. It's a relatively easy ride as Ghent is mostly flat. Unfortunately, it was a little drizzly on the day we took the tour. Definitely try to do it on a nice day, if you can. We stopped partway through to have a beer at the Dok brewery which was nice. One thing to note: this tour truly did go to some less-famous spots in the city. It's definitely more about the undiscovered Ghent. We did not go near the famous, historic center with the castle, old buildings, towers, canal, etc. We were not even aware those places were in the city (and close to our hotel) until the day after the bike tour when we walked around more. If you want to see that kind of stuff, you should likely do a different tour.

Tim was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, easy going, humorous, and patient. I am not very athletic and the ride was very easy, mostly flat. Saw things we never would have seen on our own.

We enjoyed the bike tour with Tim. He took us all around Ghent and not just through old town. I appreciated the stopping place where we got a pastry and good beer. Plus he recommended must do’s for after the tour that did not disappoint.

We had a great couple of hours with Tim, saw some great sights learnt a lot about Ghent - it was a fantastic way to start our weekend . Recommend 100%

Absolutely fantastic tour of Gent. We did this at the first day of a 1-week stay in the city, and this was perfect as we got to know many places where we wanted to return to. Tim, the guide, told us so many interesting and amazing things about the places we saw. Certainly a big enrichment of our stay in Gent!

Magnificent Medieval city of Ghent needs to be explored by bike. Tim is a local guide who will give you loads of history and insight to this magical place.

I booked the group tour but probably due to the weather I was the only one. Had a great time anyway. Saw more of Gent than just staying inside the old town. (Also nice to have a break from all the walking) Tim is a great guide and a truly nice person with passion for his city. I loved the street art, architecture and the story behind it. I just had a great Sunday morning and recommend this tour to all (solo) travelers.
